Hi all.
Dont know if any one is into consoles here, but ill post it up anyway.
Last night as part of the EB Games gang I went to a industry night at Telstra Stadium the up coming new console coming out on the 7th of Decemember - Nintendo Wii.
The night wasnt as geeky as i was expecting it to be, although there was a quite scary nerd that came up to me and this other bloke afterwards and started to ramble about PS3 - glad when he left.
In summary the Console costs $400 and comes with a game and a controller. Its a good price but after playing Zelda and seeing it in action i was really disappointed with the console, espically the graphics - theres something about the motion sensor controller that is almost hypocritcal of what gaming is ment to be - A lazy sedentive hobby!
In all i dont think id buy one, id much rather spend an extra $250 and get a Xbox 360 which has met all my expectations as a personal console.
However if anyone here is interested in coming to the launch night of the Nintendo Wii to try it out for yourself as you might be getting one for your kids or whatever PM me and you can come to my stores launch night - warning though it is at midnight!
