Next mod..FAST 78mm intake and TB.
I got mid 20's cam,stall,3.7's....270 odd rwkw at the moment.
Thoughts on this mod?..I think this will supply!

You've similar mods to Oztrack. He's also gone FAST manifold but with TBA throttlebody. Worth have a chat to Steve as I've a feeling he went larger than 78mm T/B.

i have heard mixed results about the mod u have chosen. On one side there have been the few that have gained about 15rwhp from the manifold change alone, but i am not sure if it top end / mid range or all over. But i have seen a setup were it didnt work so well, while it did make gains, i was dissapointed to hear he made only a 4 rwhp top end, which is were he needed it. He did make slightly bigger gains in the mid range but each engine and combo is different.
i am looking forward to see how it all pans out :)

We've moved on from rats to Possums Tony ... don't take any offence ... :waving: Probably explains the lack of responses :D
Seems like a lot of money for marginal gains IMO.
Have you asked Sonny his opinion? From what I have read FAST tend to be pretty noisy so you'd wanna make sure you're OK with that concept.
For the money the FAST is gunna cost you I'd be diverting the $$$ towards heads and maybe injectors. More gains to be had there I reckon.

Tony,
Agree with many of the above suggestions. :yep:
If money is no option then sure go the bigger manifold (FAST/LS2) and bigger throttle body, however if it $100+ per kW (pluck btw, just inferring bang for buck not that high) isn't your thing then IMHO:
- Quality TB if you haven't done so already, I have seen and experienced upto ~8rwkW just from the BBK I use on more than one vehicle and this was felt through the entire range. Note, gains over a stocker not a ported std one, then the gains would probably be half of that approx, however the more air your engine requires the more benefit you will see. So TBA or BBK IMO are worthwhile and work in harmony with current/future mods - with tune adjusted to suit of course.
- From here the 'bolt-ons' gains get pretty minimal and I agree with Dave and put the $$ towards heads. I am of the opinion that the heads were the best engine mod I have ever got, yes they compliment the cam to no end, and I have never driven a std cammed LS1 with nice head work but for me they are the best of both worlds, improved performance everywhere, especially down low and improved economy, mainly due compression I imagine.
Others - if not fitted:
- NOS (do it, you can do it:yep: ):nos:
- UDP
- Exhaust/Cats (as mentioned)
All that said I guess it depends what you're chasing but a couple of gorillas spent on heads is where I would aim
Just my 2c

Sorry about my lack of patience:o
Heads are a real option.I think im at a point where im only chasing small gains
powerwise but maybe good gains in drivability.Seems like it gets tough on
desicion making from here on in.............Besides the bigger brakes:)

Yep, from someone who has had a FAST they are VERY noisy. You can hear everything going on inside your engine. Can make it sound tough with a cam as it makes the engine noise much louder, just depends on what you want.
