Gday all track chatters!
This thread is mainly for guys, but any girls who have a partner get them to do this!
Every year the month of Novemeber, unoffically turns into the month of Movember - This is a month when blokes grow a beard or some form of facial hair (like me - a goatie) in respect for the sufferers of prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is more common in men then it is breast cancer in women. And it also gets less funding for research into new techniques into fighting it.
Ive looked after several men whom have had prostate cancer and it is a horrible and scary disease, it is very painful and spreads quite rapidly.
A good uni friend of mine (Hi Tina if you read this!!) dad has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer, so my Goatie is dedicated to him!
So leave the razor down for the next couple of weeks and support a good cause! :)
