Go the 230 for a nasty idle and for when the heads go on...
It's probably gonna be thirsty (thirstier) no matter what (unless all your driving is highway driving), but if you want good low down power I'd imagine the 112lsa job would be better.
Have driven a few cars with that cam and it's a bloody good cam. :yep:
Cheers,

I have the 224/228 112lsa comp cam. Im still happy i did this size cam, ive even had a guy with a bigger h/c combo say it goes alright down low. I personally would love to see what this cam would be like with a heads set up.
My suggestion, wait till you can afford the heads at the same time, its worth it.

I think Erik has this cam (or thereabouts :) ) and made 305rwkw thus far with russo heads. With the difillipos and bigger manifold, and perhaps exhaust upgrade i really wonder how much power that thing is going to make!

Id go the 112lsa for the daily driven aspect, if you not worried about how that, then go all out :)

:yep: Got 224/228 112lsa. 305rwkw with tri-y's. Is wicked imo. Don't think you'll be disappointed. I most certainly am not :D. Can return good economy if driven accordingly too. The thought of going bigger has never entered my mind, as mine IS a daily driver. Perfect compromise.
