Weekend at Heathcote!

Went to Heathcote on saterday for the FF drag day, finally started to get my head around it and managed 11.96@115.81 1.67 60' .

Wasnt to bad a day redlighted (by 2 100th) in the semi's of the DYO but was happy with that considering it was only the second time at it.

Had all the APS frankston guys there in there ls1's actually raced a guy by the name of Nathan in a red M6 ute with single turbo that was doing 10.1's all day impressive car.

Then after racing camped at the track with few of the ford boys and ls1 guys , definately alot of debating, drinking and laughing going on, was a good night.

All in all had a good weekend.

Well done Wade. Congrats. Bad luck with the red light though... I know how you feel :headbang: . Isn't Heathcote... "interesting"?!? :shock:

First two cars is me and a pusuite ute in the DYO the next is Chris my tuner/engine builders black beast that does 10.1's on nos and blower and last is a very quick XR6T.

Did you find tyre smoke stuffed up the starting beams?

I found myself trying to stage with my back wheels a couple of times down there.

I dunno Duncan, you get some weird things going on with the timing sometimes down there but a nice relaxed track though.
