To try and ensure a good day is had by both participants and spectators, I have reproduced the rules for a WSID Private Track Hire.
If you are a participant or spectator, we expect that you have read and understand these rules.

Supplementary Rules and Regulations
DEFINITIONS
ANDRA means the Australian National Drag Racing Association Inc.
Crewmember means a participant who has entered to assist a nominated primary driver with his or her vehicle.
Media Representative means a pre-approved professional photographer or journalist.
Participant means any and all of the following: The Hirer and any assistant(s) appointed by The Hirer; primary driver;
secondary driver; crewmember; spectator; media representative; service provider.
Primary Driver means the primary, often the only, driver entered to competitively drive a specified vehicle.
Secondary Driver means a second driver entered to share competitive driving of a specified vehicle.
Service Provider means an individual, or group of individuals collectively, approved to provide some level of noncommercial
catering of food and non-alcoholic beverages for the participants (eg Lions or Rotary Club).
Spectator means a person who has entered to observe competition from designated spectator viewing areas.
WSID means Western Sydney International Dragway and includes all the land and all the facilities upon that land which is
under the control of Western Sydney International Dragway Ltd.

ALCOHOL
WSID is an alcohol-free venue. No alcohol or alcoholic beverage of any description is to be brought into the venue by any
participant at this Track Hire. WSID reserves the right to search containers of any description and to confiscate any alcohol
or alcoholic beverages found until the completion of the Track Hire. A driver found with alcohol in his or her possession will
be immediately disqualified from participation in the Track Hire any may be subject to immediate removal from WSID. No
refund will be issued to The Hirer on an offender’s behalf. If more than one driver is found with alcohol in their possession,
the Track Hire may be cancelled entirely. In this case, all costs incurred to that point by WSID will be deducted from total
payments received with the balance refunded to The Hirer within seven (7) days. If a spectator, spectators, or other noncompetitive
participants are found to have alcohol in their possession they may be subject to immediate removal from WSID
and the driver or drivers with whom they are associated may be disqualified from participation. No refund will be issued to
The Hirer on an offender’s behalf.
ANDRA-LICENSED COMPETITORS
Any and all ANDRA-licensed competitors are restricted to participation in vehicles not capable of elapsed times quicker than
11.000-seconds. Holders of current ANDRA licences must present their licence to credentials officials and race under their
ANDRA licence number.
ANIMALS
Animals are not permitted at WSID during any motorsport event. The animal and animal handler/owner will be subject to
immediate removal from WSID.
BARBECUES
Privately operated gas barbecues are permitted but must operate in an area isolated from competitors’ vehicles.
BRAKING AREA PRIORITY
In all cases, the driver’s right-hand (K&N Filters) lane has right of way into the turnaround area. A competitor in the driver’s
left-hand (Wynn’s) lane must never cut across the path of the right-hand lane competitor. Swapping lanes in the braking
area is strictly prohibited unless a competitor is instructed to do so by a WSID official. An initial breach will result in a
warning. A subsequent breach will result in disqualification from further participation in the Track Hire. No refund will be
issued to The Hirer on an offender’s behalf.
BREAKAGES ON TRACK
Any competitor suffering a breakage, suspected equipment failure and/or fluid (oil/coolant/water/fuel) discharge whilst on a
run must move to the outside of the track (adjacent to the safety barrier of their lane) as quickly as possible to minimise
damage to the racing surface. Competitors must obey all directions given by WSID officials regarding track exit.
BURNOUTS
Burnouts may only be performed in the waterbox behind the start line while under the direction of a WSID official. If a
driver performs a burnout elsewhere on the WSID property, they will be disqualified immediately from further participation
in the Track Hire. No refund will be issued to The Hirer on an offender’s behalf. (Also refer: Burnout pad; Testing).
BURNOUT PAD
The performance of burnouts on the designated WSID burnout pad is strictly prohibited during this Track Hire. Any breach
will result in immediate disqualification from further participation in the Track Hire. No refunds will be issued to the Hirer on
an offender’s behalf.
CATERING
WSID contracted catering is not available at this Track Hire. On-site catering by other commercial food and beverage
operations is not permitted at this Track Hire. Private arrangements may be made to have food and non-alcoholic
beverages delivered on the day of the Track Hire (for example: pizza deliveries).
CHILDREN
Children under the age of 16 must not be left alone in any vehicle at any time. Persons under the age of 16 are not
permitted in the staging lanes, start line or return road areas at any time during the Track Hire.
CIVIL LICENCES
All drivers must hold a current civil driver’s licence or be able to prove that they have held a civil driver’s licence. A P-plate is
acceptable. A learner’s permit is not acceptable.
CLOTHING – MINIMUM SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Drivers: All primary and secondary drivers must wear long trousers, long sleeves, fully-enclosed lace-up shoes and an
approved helmet of Australian Standard AS-1698 1974/1988 or equivalent.
