To try and ensure a good day is had by both participants and spectators, I have reproduced the rules for a WSID Private Track Hire.

If you are a participant or spectator, we expect that you have read and understand these rules.

If you have any questions over the rules please ask.

Supplementary Rules and Regulations

DEFINITIONS
ANDRA means the Australian National Drag Racing Association Inc.
Crewmember means a participant who has entered to assist a nominated primary driver with his or her vehicle.
Media Representative means a pre-approved professional photographer or journalist.
Participant means any and all of the following: The Hirer and any assistant(s) appointed by The Hirer; primary driver;
secondary driver; crewmember; spectator; media representative; service provider.
Primary Driver means the primary, often the only, driver entered to competitively drive a specified vehicle.
Secondary Driver means a second driver entered to share competitive driving of a specified vehicle.
Service Provider means an individual, or group of individuals collectively, approved to provide some level of noncommercial
catering of food and non-alcoholic beverages for the participants (eg Lions or Rotary Club).
Spectator means a person who has entered to observe competition from designated spectator viewing areas.
WSID means Western Sydney International Dragway and includes all the land and all the facilities upon that land which is
under the control of Western Sydney International Dragway Ltd.

ALCOHOL
WSID is an alcohol-free venue. No alcohol or alcoholic beverage of any description is to be brought into the venue by any
participant at this Track Hire. WSID reserves the right to search containers of any description and to confiscate any alcohol
or alcoholic beverages found until the completion of the Track Hire. A driver found with alcohol in his or her possession will
be immediately disqualified from participation in the Track Hire any may be subject to immediate removal from WSID. No
refund will be issued to The Hirer on an offender’s behalf. If more than one driver is found with alcohol in their possession,
the Track Hire may be cancelled entirely. In this case, all costs incurred to that point by WSID will be deducted from total
payments received with the balance refunded to The Hirer within seven (7) days. If a spectator, spectators, or other noncompetitive
participants are found to have alcohol in their possession they may be subject to immediate removal from WSID
and the driver or drivers with whom they are associated may be disqualified from participation. No refund will be issued to
The Hirer on an offender’s behalf.

ANDRA-LICENSED COMPETITORS
Any and all ANDRA-licensed competitors are restricted to participation in vehicles not capable of elapsed times quicker than
11.000-seconds. Holders of current ANDRA licences must present their licence to credentials officials and race under their
ANDRA licence number.

ANIMALS
Animals are not permitted at WSID during any motorsport event. The animal and animal handler/owner will be subject to
immediate removal from WSID.

BARBECUES
Privately operated gas barbecues are permitted but must operate in an area isolated from competitors’ vehicles.

BRAKING AREA PRIORITY
In all cases, the driver’s right-hand (K&N Filters) lane has right of way into the turnaround area. A competitor in the driver’s
left-hand (Wynn’s) lane must never cut across the path of the right-hand lane competitor. Swapping lanes in the braking
area is strictly prohibited unless a competitor is instructed to do so by a WSID official. An initial breach will result in a
warning. A subsequent breach will result in disqualification from further participation in the Track Hire. No refund will be
issued to The Hirer on an offender’s behalf.

BREAKAGES ON TRACK
Any competitor suffering a breakage, suspected equipment failure and/or fluid (oil/coolant/water/fuel) discharge whilst on a
run must move to the outside of the track (adjacent to the safety barrier of their lane) as quickly as possible to minimise
damage to the racing surface. Competitors must obey all directions given by WSID officials regarding track exit.

BURNOUTS
Burnouts may only be performed in the waterbox behind the start line while under the direction of a WSID official. If a
driver performs a burnout elsewhere on the WSID property, they will be disqualified immediately from further participation
in the Track Hire. No refund will be issued to The Hirer on an offender’s behalf. (Also refer: Burnout pad; Testing).

BURNOUT PAD
The performance of burnouts on the designated WSID burnout pad is strictly prohibited during this Track Hire. Any breach
will result in immediate disqualification from further participation in the Track Hire. No refunds will be issued to the Hirer on
an offender’s behalf.

CATERING
WSID contracted catering is not available at this Track Hire. On-site catering by other commercial food and beverage
operations is not permitted at this Track Hire. Private arrangements may be made to have food and non-alcoholic
beverages delivered on the day of the Track Hire (for example: pizza deliveries).

CHILDREN
Children under the age of 16 must not be left alone in any vehicle at any time. Persons under the age of 16 are not
permitted in the staging lanes, start line or return road areas at any time during the Track Hire.

CIVIL LICENCES
All drivers must hold a current civil driver’s licence or be able to prove that they have held a civil driver’s licence. A P-plate is
acceptable. A learner’s permit is not acceptable.

CLOTHING – MINIMUM SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Drivers: All primary and secondary drivers must wear long trousers, long sleeves, fully-enclosed lace-up shoes and an
approved helmet of Australian Standard AS-1698 1974/1988 or equivalent.

Motorcyclists: an approved full-face helmet (Australian Standard AS-1698 1974/1988 or equivalent), a MA-approved
jacket and gloves, long pants (preferably leathers) and boots that cover the rider?s ankles.
Crewmembers: All crewmembers must wear fully-enclosed lace-up shoes and a sleeved shirt or t-shirt. Access to the start
line area will be denied without appropriate upper body wear and footwear.

COMPETITION DRAG RACING VEHICLES
Competition drag racing vehicles capable of elapsed times quicker than 11.000-seconds over the quarter-mile are not
permitted to participate at this Track Hire.

COMPULSORY START LINE BRIEFING
All primary and secondary drivers, crewmembers and photographers are required to attend the compulsory Start Line
Briefing before the start of racing. The Start Line Briefing normally takes place at 10:00am sharp with racing commencing
immediately, or as soon as practicable, afterward.

COOLING SYSTEMS
Sprays of water or other fluids externally onto intercoolers or radiators are not permitted.

CREDENTIALS
Drivers, crewmembers and photographers should present for Credentials as soon as possible after their arrival.

CREWMEMBER PHOTOGRAPHERS
Crewmembers wishing to photograph their car while at the start line and on its run may do so but must immediately vacate
the start line area once the pass has been completed.

DRIVER SWAPPING
Unauthorised swapping of drivers and/or vehicles at any time is strictly prohibited. Any individuals found to have swapped
vehicles, wristbands, or helmets in order to aid and or abet this practise will be immediately disqualified from further
participation in the Track Hire. No refund will be issued to The Hirer on an offender?s behalf. Any ANDRA licence holder
found to have committed or in any way aided or abetted such a breach may be banned from WSID for an indefinite period
and may also face ANDRA tribunal action. (Also refer: Wristbands).

ELAPSED TIME RESTRICTION
Vehicles capable of elapsed times quicker than 11.000-seconds may not participate at this Track Hire. This elapsed time
restriction limits the participation of competition drag racing vehicles to ANDRA-designated Super Street level only. This rule
has been introduced in response to incidents of drivers attempting to swap to vehicles for which they are inappropriately
licensed either by swapping wristbands and/or helmets, hence the exclusion of competition vehicles of ANDRA-designated
Super Sedan level and above.

ELECTRICAL POWER
Access to paddock area electrical power is available on request.

ENTRY FEES
Primary driver: $200; Secondary driver: $50 each. The primary driver entry fee includes entry for two (2)
crewmembers and three (3) spectators where required equating to less than $35 per head.

ENTRY FORMS
Drivers will be issued a pre-numbered entry form upon arrival at the Competitor Entry gate. The entry form should be
completed while in the paddock area then brought on-foot, together with proof of identification, to the scrutineering
building for processing by credentials officials as early as possible.

EXCESS CLEANING EXPENSES
All participants are required to dispose of their rubbish appropriately by using the rubbish receptacles provided in the
venue. To avoid an excess cleaning charge, invoiced to The Hirer, the venue must be left in the same state on departure as
it was on arrival.

FINISH LINE
All drivers must familiarise themselves with the location and layout of the finish line, gravel trap, turnaround area, return
road, safety barriers and emergency stopping area prior to the start of racing. These areas are discussed in detail during
the Compulsory Start Line Briefing.

FIRE HYDRANTS
Activation or use of hydrants without authorisation or in a non-emergency will result in immediate disqualification and
removal from WSID for the individual and/or persons responsible. The fire protection system is automatic and activates
pumps and alarms. Offenders will be required to pay all costs imposed by the NSW Fire Brigade for a call-out and all costs
incurred to rectify any damage. No refund will be issued to The Hirer on an offender?s behalf.

FIREWORKS
Fireworks are strictly prohibited. Discharge of fireworks by any participant will result in immediate disqualification and
removal from the venue. No refund will be issued to The Hirer on an offender?s behalf.

FLUID CONTAINMENT DEVICE
All competing vehicles must have a fluid containment device secured in position to capture any overflow or surge from the
radiator.

FOOTWEAR
Fully-enclosed lace-up footwear is required for all participants seeking access to the start line area whether as drivers,
crewmembers or photographers. (Also refer: Clothing ? minimum safety requirements).

GLASS CONTAINERS
The use of glass containers, whether for drinks or other contents, is strictly prohibited.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
All participants have a duty of care to each other to identify and take measurers to eliminate or control hazards or
hazardous procedures within their allocated paddock space and in all their activities throughout the duration of the Track
Hire. All participants must observe and obey all safety-related instructions that may be given by a WSID official. Failure to
act in accordance with such instructions may result in disqualification.

HELMETS
All helmets must be properly secured with helmet straps worn beneath the chin. Drivers must not loosen or remove their
helmets before leaving the racing surface or braking area. An initial breach will result in a warning. A subsequent breach will
result in disqualification from further participation in the Track Hire. No refund will be issued to The Hirer on an offender?s
behalf. (Also refer: Clothing ? Minimum safety requirements ? Drivers ? Motorcyclists).

INCLUSIONS
Meeting Director; WSID Track Officials and Event Staff; Safety Safari ? Fire and Recovery Crews; Ambulance Service of
NSW unit and medical crew; ANDRA Event Permit; WSID Public Liability insurance; ANDRA Public Liability insurance; full
Compulink timing system and operators; track preparation appropriate for the performance potential of the vehicles
competing.

INDEMNITY
All primary and secondary drivers are required to complete an ANDRA Indemnity while being processed by the credentials
officials. A wristband will be issued which signifies you have completed the appropriate paperwork and have been
authorised to participate and enter restricted areas. Crewmembers and photographers must also complete an ANDRA
Indemnity to receive the appropriate wristband and be authorised to enter restricted areas.

INVITED GUEST
The term ?Invited Guest? will not be permitted to include participants in ANDRA-designated competition drag racing vehicles
which are outside the spirit and stated limitations of this Track Hire or which The Hirer may seek to include as
?entertainment? or an ?attraction? for other participants.

MARQUEES
Participants may erect privately-owned marquees only within the paddock area provided there is no safety risk posed by
wind gusts. Marquees must be sufficiently weighted so that the structure is safely secured in position and does not pose
any risk of danger to other participants. No objects whatsoever are to be driven into any ground area within WSID.

MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES - Journalists
The names of all journalists attending the Track Hire as well as the name of their agency or publication must be included in
the Entry List provided by The Hirer. Journalists may not be permitted access to the start line area.

MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES ? Photographers
The names of all photographers attending the Track Hire as well as the name of their agency or publication must be
included in the Entry List provided by The Hirer. Only approved photographers may remain within the start line area for
extended periods of time. No photographers are permitted to stand between the lanes in the waterbox area, within the
starter?s tunnel, or adjacent to a safety barrier beyond 225ft or 70m from the start line. Photographers wishing to cross
sides of the track must do so by walking behind the waterbox.

MINIMUM/MAXIMUM DRIVERS
The minimum number of primary drivers is 40; the maximum number of primary drivers is 50. Authorised secondary drivers
are not included in either of these limits.

MOBILE PHONES
Mobile phones are not to be used by any drivers while they are on the racing surface, braking area, turnaround area or
return road.

MOTORCYCLES
Motorcycles capable of elapsed times quicker than 10.500-seconds may not participate in this Track Hire. Any motorcyclist
running 11.999-seconds or quicker must hold an ANDRA Super Street Licence as a minimum. Motorcycles may not compete
alongside a car. (Also refer: Clothing ? Minimum safety requirements ? Motorcyclists).

MULTIPLE DRIVERS
Multiple drivers for a given vehicle will be permitted up to a limit of four on the strict condition that all drivers concerned are
appropriately licensed for the performance potential of the specified vehicle. Arrangements for multiple drivers must be
advised by The Hirer and approved by WSID prior to the Track Hire. Where these drivers are not already entered as
primary or secondary drivers, they will be required to be listed separately as multiple drivers on the Entry List provided by
The Hirer and pay the secondary driver entry fee to The Hirer. Should the arrangement be abused by any of the
participants, the arrangement will be cancelled immediately and no refund will be issued to The Hirer on an offender?s

NAKED FLAMES
Except for the limited flame associated with personal gas barbecues, no naked flames are permitted at any time.

NON-ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRIES
WSID reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual, group of individuals, registered car club, clubs, and or any other
entities. No reason whatsoever need be given.

PHOTOGRAPHERS
Except in the case of pre-approved professional photographers, WSID Off-Street Meeting regulations will apply. (Also
refer: Crewmember photographers; Media Representatives ? Photographers).

PRIMARY DRIVERS
Drivers who enter without a nominated secondary driver for their vehicle are referred to as primary drivers.

RETURN ROAD USAGE
All drivers must abide by the sign-posted speed limit (20kmh) on the return road. Vehicles must travel in single file; no
overtaking is permitted. An initial breach will result in a warning. A subsequent breach may result in disqualification from
further participation in the Track Hire. No refund will be issued to The Hirer on an offender?s behalf.

RIGHT TO REFUSE
WSID reserves the right to refuse requests for a Track Hire proposed by any individual, group of individuals, registered car
club, clubs, and or any other entities. No reason whatsoever need be given.

SCRUTINEERING
All vehicles are required to be scrutineered during which the roadworthiness of each vehicle will be inspected. In all cases,scrutineering officials in conjunction with the Meeting Director will have the final say as to whether a vehicle may or may
not compete at this Track Hire.

SEAT BELTS
A minimum lap-sash seat belt is required. Lap belts only are not acceptable.

SECONDARY DRIVERS
Participants who enter to share the driving of a nominated vehicle are referred to as secondary drivers. Additional
secondary drivers may be added during the course of the Track Hire provided the persons concerned are appropriately
licensed for the vehicles in question and The Hirer confirms payment of the additional $50 entry fee(s).

SPECTATOR ENTRY FEES
The charging of admission fees to spectators anywhere on the WSID property, including its access roads and venue entry
gates, by The Hirer or any agent appointed by The Hirer is strictly prohibited. Only those spectators who hold the
appropriate ticket or whose name is included on the Entry List provided by The Hirer may enter this Track Hire.

SPECTATORS AND SPECTATOR VIEWING AREA
Spectators must remain in the designated spectator areas or the pit/paddock area and are not permitted to enter restricted
areas. Spectators must not traverse the spectator area fencing, nor cross over or gather on or near the return road.
Spectators must not cross over the return road in order to more closely photograph a vehicle. Spectators are not permitted
to take a ?short cut? to the pit/paddock area by traversing the spectator fencing and walking through the return road tunnel
under the administration building. Should this occur, the Meeting Director will bring proceedings to a stop until such time as
those spectators and any other unauthorised persons have cleared the area. Proceedings will be stopped each time this
situation repeats.

SPEED LIMITS
Pit/paddock area speed limit is 10kmh; return road speed limit is 20kmh. These limits will be enforced. An initial breach will
result in a warning. A subsequent breach will result in disqualification from further participation in the Track Hire. No refund
will be issued to The Hirer on an offender?s behalf.

SUPER STREET VEHICLES
ANDRA-designated Super Street vehicles may participate in this Track Hire provided the driver is appropriately and currently
ANDRA-licensed, where necessary a current ANDRA log book is presented, the vehicle meets the appropriate scrutineering
requirements and is not capable of elapsed times quicker than 11.000-seconds over the quarter-mile.

TESTING
No mobile testing or warm-ups, burnouts, dry launches, or similar, are permitted anywhere within WSID other than on the
racing surface. Where an engine is being warmed up, the assigned driver must always be in the driver?s seat and in full
control of the vehicle. ?Winging? the throttle of an un-manned vehicle is strictly prohibited unless the vehicle is securely
rested on jack stands. Breaches will result in immediate disqualification. No refund will be issued to The Hirer on an
offender?s behalf.

TICKETS
Provided that The Hirer provides an Entry List by 3:00pm Wednesday prior to the Track Hire, tickets will be prepared and
posted that evening or held for collection that evening or the following day. WSID will issue tickets in direct proportion to
the listed number of primary drivers. The ticket ratio is as follows: primary driver X 1; secondary driver (where applicable) X
1; crewmember X 2; spectator X 3. A primary driver may only nominate one (1) second driver. Separately listed preapproved
multiple drivers will be issued secondary driver tickets. Where a primary driver does not wish to take up his/her
full complement of two crewmembers and three spectators, those tickets may be allocated to another primary driver.
However, this must be arranged between the parties concerned prior to the day of the Track Hire. No swapping of tickets
will be permitted within WSID. Media tickets will be issued only for accredited media representatives included on the Entry
List. Should The Hirer not be able to provide a final Entry List by the specified time, WSID will not issue tickets. Instead The
Hirer will be required to provide a fully detailed Entry List that also nominates the names of all crewmembers and all
spectators adjacent to the relevant primary drivers. (Refer also: Terms and Conditions ? Entry List).

VEHICLE PERFORMANCE AND ANDRA LICENCE REQUIREMENTS
The driver/rider of any vehicle capable of running an elapsed time of 11.999-seconds or quicker over the quarter-mile must
hold an ANDRA Super Street Licence as a minimum.

WASTE OIL
Waste oil and other liquids must be removed from WSID by the entrant at the close of the Track Hire. No fluids may be
disposed of down the drains, onto the ground or into the waste bins. A breach of this rule will result in immediate
disqualification from the Track Hire, an indefinite ban from future Track Hires and formal notification to the relevant
environmental authorities. If able to be identified, the person or persons responsible will be billed via The Hirer for all costs
associated with the environmentally appropriate removal of the substance from WSID.

WRISTBANDS
Primary driver, secondary driver, crewmember and photographer wristbands, once affixed to the right-hand wrist of
authorised persons by credentials officials, are not to be tampered with, removed or swapped with any other individuals
during the Track Hire. Unauthorised swapping of drivers and/or vehicles at any time is strictly prohibited. Any individuals
found to have swapped vehicles, wristbands, or helmets in order to aid and or abet this practise will be immediately
disqualified from further participation in the Track Hire. No refund will be issued to The Hirer on an offender?s behalf. Any
ANDRA licence holder found to have committed or in any way aided or abetted such a breach may be banned from WSID
for an indefinite period and may also face ANDRA tribunal action. (Also refer: Driver swapping; Multiple drivers;
