When i try to lock the ute using the key remote, it locks the drivers side ok but the passengers side only goes 1/2 way down, which in turn sets the horn alarm off to let me know its not locked....its doing my f&^%$n head in cause i keep forgetting about it:headbang:
Anyone encountered this before?... im guessing theres a sticky solenoid somewhere so i spose it's off with the door trim tomorrow.
Happens every now and then to my drivers door Rick.
What I do is manualy open lock and unlock the door EG Lift the lock up and down. Then lock and unlock the door with the key by hand.
That fixes it for me.
Good luck mate.

Don't bother mate. Are you in NSW? Did it just start happening recently?
Commo's (VS and VT at least, and I'm sure newer models too) have a problem where after excessive amounts of rain, the central locking will start playing silly buggers. My VS did it a few years ago (when we had 3-4 days of solid rain), and my mate's VT started doing it this weekend too.
After the rain stops, give it 2-3 days and it should be back to normal. :)
Cheers,
- Febs.
