Today I am pulling out the rear sets in my Monaro and The base has come out easily, the bolts at the bottom of the seat backs are undone but I cant seem to lift the backs out? do they just pop up like a commodore or is there something further?

Thanks in advance!

As long as you have the 13mm bolts removed, lift the back up. There are some metal clips that hold the upright on. Keep pulling up about half a foot, should come right out Daniel.

Thanks Duncan, it seems that for some reason it was really stuck on the drivers side, a bit of jiggling when I knew it was safe something went click and out it came! In the past I have learned not to force these things :)

Cheers!

Another one, a bit harder though. Does anyone know how to remove the side pieces in the back of the Monaro? I have discovered what I need but have to remove the drivers side pannel that runs from the door to the back shelf. I cant see any screws?

Thanks in advance (again!).

Any pics mate, do you mean the side bit as in where the door would be, if it had 4 doors?

:o Yes, the piece of trim that would be a door if it was a four door. Basically it looks like one piece but has molding to look like it is a few pieces.

Hmmm my descriptive ability is quite poor isnt it? :headbang:

I dont have any pics which is a pain.

Send a PM to Scott (Scat2K3) he will have the required brain function to help you out Daniel.

I'm fairly certain he's removed all the bits in question to sound deaden his Monaro.:yep:
