Im pretty sure that unless you have a cage you cannot use full slicks, R comps are a different story. :yep:
I have some full slicks to fit 18's if your still intereested though.

Turtle have you tried semi-slicks at all?

i might know where you can get some second hand Yokohama A048's (used in the V8 Ute series) - they are 17" i think

Yeahh sure, why not, I'm currently using potenza's, they are a semi slick tyre too. Its nota bad tyre, but once I start screwing the boost up over 14 pounds, I fry them continously,

how much can you get the tyres for ?

Bridgestone do have a semislick (or R-compound tyre) it is a "potenza" more specificaly it is a called RE55. SO3, RE040, RE050 are Bridgestone potenzas as well but are not semi-slicks.

Google "Yokohama A048" or "Bridgestone RE55"

If the V8 utes can do 1.40 around winton on 17inch A048's then there is scope enough for me in there.

Patients Turtle patients, remember we have jobs and families and this is for fun.

LSX-348 will not forget, just give him more the 48 hours :lmao:

Have you seen the other thread that I have about a greatly reduced RE55 price?

I think Lautray might remember his name, a tyre dealer in Victoria can get the A048's from the V8 Ute series
