since there is no rides section on here (hint hint) ill post it all in here,

after seeing how much a stock LS1 will take before something happens i decieded to pull the motor and make her a little stronger (we got to 600rwhp before she lifted a head, pistons and rods were still perfect!!)

basically i have got the following,

Probe Forged pistons 9.5:1 comp
scat rods,
all balanced etc
alloy block has been machined to suit pistons and decked to ensure a flat surface for the heads to bolt to, new bearings through out
Ported heads with over size valves and double springs
Roller Rockers
double row timing chain,
high volume oil pump
ARP main studs
ARP head studs
ARP rod bolts
Comp Lifters
H/D pushrods

and the best bits with a huge thanks to Plan B
TEX ExoSKill twin plate
Sheet metal intake manifold

and the better bits
3 bar map sensor for the big boost :)

the aim, 700rwhp with the alloy block!

here are a few pics

fuel rails i made up for it
here it is being pressure tested to 100psi to ensure there are no leaks!

Big thanks must go to

Peter Haylock at Textralia for the clutch and inlet manifold

Clayton and Dave at Just Heads Mt Druitt (9832 4939) for the head work and maching on the block etc

Dave and the boys from work for helping rip it all out and cleaning parts etc!!

im just finishing bolting the bottom end together now, the heads will be here tuesday hopefully, it should be in the car running by the weekend!

anyting over 15psi you should run the 3 bar sensor, you can push the 2 bar a little harder but not much

we have set the engine up for 18-20psi on pump fuel, anything over that will switch to c16
