View Full Version : Anyone heading to WSID tomorrow (11/7)?
Anyone else thinking of heading out? I'm going to grab hold of my only opportunity to hit WSID this winter (since the WDD was called off  ) and head out tomorrow, weather permitting.
Haven't been to a Wednesday night for about 18 months now - do you still have a reasonable chance of getting in if you get there at 6pm? I know last week's was called off, so it might be a bit busier.
If anyone's heading out, walk up to the Tungsten (Metallic Beige) VX Calais and say g'day. :)
Cheers,
- Febs.

Febs, I was hoping to head out myself, but my day off has been cancelled & I don't finish work until 7.10, so I am no chance :headbang: .
I think Wade is heading out though.
Febs the WDD II is on the 12th of Aug, you just have to prioritize to get to it :whip: :lmao:
I would love to have a go at WSID after I was up at Willowbank the other week :yep:
Have fun Febs
Troy :)

i went out, 11.4@132 with 2.0 60 foot,
then broke the tail shaft
I had a pretty average night...couldn't do better than a 13.3 (not sure why, am 3mph down on my best run, which I did on a 35degC day), and did a -0.002 (jackpot for a 0.000 was $960! D'oh!)
Still a fun night nonetheless. Quite a few nice 9 and 10 sec cars too, which always make for some interesting viewing. :)

Thought that's what it must have been. Missed that run but dad said a white VY ute stopped soon after launching.
Nice work on the 132mph! :bravo:

The timing boards were doing alot of weird numbers Febs, noticed later in the night the timeslips on one lane wernt showng anything after the 660ft.
Know that guy that got the .000 light, he didnt have a clue untill thay called his number out but was a happy after that.

Yeah, that was a pain in the arse. Happened on my last run - though I could sorta work out from the 660ft mph and ET that the time wouldn't have been anything special.
Pretty big crowd too - I only got 4 runs in, with the last one pretty much on 10pm.
Cheers,
