Well you QLD'ers. Its time to stand up and be counted. There is 1 yes (one) spot left for the circuit day on the 23rd August up for grabs so if you want it you need to get in QUICK!!.
Next on the agenda is 5th Oct. This one is going to be a biggie!!. We have wall to wall skylines and Evo's to race and we need a really good LS1 showing. Please refer everyone interested to THIS thread. Im NOT posting this on other forums as THIS is the TRACK forum.

What is Track Day?
The day is run as a sprint event, where cars are spaced equally on the track, and overtaking is only allowed under controlled conditions (see track day rules).
All car makes and models are welcome. Each set on the track is made up of cars with similar lap times to minimize overtaking.
The events are held at Queensland Raceway which is on Champions Way, just off the Cunningham Highway near Ipswich. Approximately 20 minutes drive from the intersection of the Western Freeway and Ipswich Motorways.
You will require a Queensland Raceway license which costs about $55 (annual) and can be bought on the day.
Electronic Timing
Track Day has an electronic timing system accurate to 1/100 of a second. There is an electronic eye across the track that triggers a hard real time microcontroller at the trackside. This time marker is then sent wirelessly up to the timing room where the master control software allocates it to a car.
At the end of each set a printout of the lap times will be available. There is also a printout at the end of the day showing all your laps for the day.
The track temperatures and air temperatures are logged all day and printed against your lap times for later analysis.
There is a large electronic sign in pit lane that shows live speeds from the main straight, live lap times and best laps between sessions.
