From Time Attack (Thanks to Paul for the hard work)
I am planning on running the event below as our final track day on the afternoon of December 13.
It is a handicapped event, where the best driver will go home will $1000 in prize money.
Even if you don?t win, the track time is huge with reduced numbers per session. I like to think everyone will have a great day.
I need expressions of interest NOW to determine if this event can go ahead.
I?m excited about this, as it will be the biggest prize pool event we have ever run and should lead us into a huge 2008.

SINGLE LAP SHOOT OUT
ANYONE CAN WIN $1000
DECEMBER 13 - AFTERNOON
1st PRIZE $1000.00
2nd PRIZE Free Track Day
3rd PRIZE Supporters Pack
Maximum Entries ? 32 cars (4 groups of 8)
Event Fee: $220 (Platinum Members $195)
Book Now: $50
Go head to head in a single lap sudden death shoot out battle to take $1000 prize money.
The event is handicapped to pit driver against driver, any car could win.
1:00pm to 4pm - WARM UP & HANDICAP
Every driver will get up to 4 sessions on track (28 laps) to warm up and put down their best lap for the handicap calculation.
The handicap will be calculated by subtracting the lap time of the fastest driver from your time. This time difference will be your handicap and it will be subtracted from your times in the shoot out battle.
4pm to 5pm ? SUDDEN DEATH SHOOT OUT
Every driver enters the shoot out with an equal chance to take the prize pool.
If you beat your own best time by more than 1 second in the shoot out you will be disqualified without appeal.
All drivers will be randomly paired for a single lap battle against an opponent.
1 ? Warm-up lap
1 ? Shoot out lap
1 ? Cool down lap
The handicaps will be calculated and the winner will go to the next round.
Round 1: 16 two car Battles
Round 2: 8 two car Battles
Round 3: 4 two car Battles
Round 4: 2 two car Battles
Round 5: Final Battle for 1st place.
This is truly a battle of driver skill, pitting only driver against driver. Your nerve in the single lap shoot out will determine if you will be there at the end.
The driver that wins the final round will take the prize pool of $1000.00
(The event organizers ruling shall be final without dispute)
