Was out a WSID last night helping my mate run his XA coupe and watched a Turbo Territory do a 11.7@120mph, pretty dam impressive for the weight they are.
wow that sounds pretty impressive for such a barge. What mods i wonder?

I think he said it was just exaust, tune, injectors thats about it and done by C&V performance.

Man that is hauling. I guess at a casual estimate they would need to be punching close to the HP of NickS coupe!

These turbos are insane ... so much power with so little effort !!!
Surely there is a torque converter or something in there ? Weight reduction ? Thats probably close to 2.2 tonne of brick, can a simple exhaust, tune & injectors really get that much power out of it ??? I thought the Typhoons running those times had bigger turbos / intercoolers ?
Not trying to have a go, the Turbo 6s are clearly an awesome bit of gear. I just know how hard it is to get 2 tonnes going that quick.

That's what I would have thought ... can a Ford Turbo 6 really get up around 650 - 700 hp with those mods ? If it can ... :shock:

It must be putting out some good power considering there weight is about 4600lbs.

Maybe he wasnt being that honest about his modsbut did have a look inside and didnt notice any weight loss out of the ordinary.
From what I know about the T6 is to get up over 400rwkw you need bigger intercooler and a few other things as well but have noticed the factory turbo can handle a fair bit though, for example the quickest T6 ran factory turbo and did a 9.9@140mph but with a million other mods though and not to mention a fair wack of weight reducton as well.
A typhoon will do that time with about 350rwkw
A territory would need about 400 to pull a figure like that for sure!!

That is really moveing...I like the turbo terry's ,might get one too,the missus wants a Territory(she's been giveing me heaps about her haveing a 95 falcon wagon and me haveing a monaro)But if I get one I think you have to go Turbo.From memory Tuna did a tune on one and it run a 13 flat as is.

I know of another C&V GT, did a 10.7@127mph and asked him what he done to it "just a v2 with 9lbs boost" fogot to mention :nos: , becoming a common tactic of there's.:werd:

either way, it's impressive to say the least

we did a exhaust on one the other week, it has run 12.0 since from memory, it is a XR6t motor that is converted into one of the old ones.

If they can get <11.9 @ 120mph with just exhaust, tune and injectors on pump gas, I would seriously think about buying one... Would be great for towing the boat
My post is not pointless, i just found out it was also on NOS... im sure there are other little bits to
Saw this thing last night, the way it launches is just insane. Has to be some form of FI in it though, you can hear it
