Hey John,

Good to see you found us !!!

Hopefully I will get to try out that harness pretty soon ... I haven't really done a track day since last December, how depressing. It would be good to get a big bunch together for a TrackChat Wakefield day in the New Year sometime. Look forward to catching up at something

Yeah Nick I see your about to finally take delivery of your black beast!! Mate that is one 'sik' car and will be well worth the wait I am sure. You will need every bit of that Race Harness support when you crank that baby

Nah no new mods Dunc/Erik/Troy, promised the "Minister" I wouldn't spend any more money on it for a while :headbang:. Tyres are the real priority thing I have to do though, haven't found replacements for my poor slicks yet. I have two more sets of those old slicks but going to sell them off as they have gone hard so don't have alot of grip plus the previous set started losing air and splitting the sidewalls after a few track days.. can't have that risk doing 180+ at Wakefield.

Couple of mates and I have also been looking into 'real' race cars to have a crack at proper racing (not allowed to cage the family car :whip:). We have a pretty low budget but are trying to stitch up a deal on an older Holden so will post if we do.

Hey Hazza.

Met you down at Wakefield last time we were all there, remember your ebay track tyres hahah - So tyres are a good idea because u dont wanna end up in the wall!

Will see you down there next track day is organised on the proviso my car is up to scratch!

Hethro :)

Hey Hethro!!

Yep I think I remember you. LOL yeah gotta love eBay, set of ROH 17" wheels with race slicks for $350!!! Hard to find wheels alone for that price so I basically treated the tyres as Free! Unfortunately they were a little hard so only lasted 2 track days before falling apart, but it sure beat trashing my 18" street tyres on each of those days. I bought another 3 sets of the slicks for 20 bucks a tyre thinking they would be good enough for my track fixes, but after seeing the sidewalls split and lose pressure very quickly they are a very unsafe thing for Wakefield. Will sell em off for burnout tyres and get something decent.

The stock clutch is not in the best shape either, so probably have to do something about that before next outing too (and OTR and Pads and...)!! Arrgghhh.. never stops!!
