I recently acquired a set of front Bilstein/Eibach coilovers (thanks John & Josh ;)) & Russo fitted them today.

Didn't take any photos off the hoist just yet as the rear suspension is getting done this week.
Much, much firmer than 5 year/172,000km old FE2. The real test will be Wakefield next week. If they work as well as they look, hoping for an improvement at Wakefield. Will be aiming for >-2* neg camber with these too. Alignment this week when new rims arrive.

Are these adjustable for bumb and rebound?
What spring rate did you settle on?
Bilstein stuff is top notch in my experience :bravo:

About how much is that front setup worth??
wow the coilovers are really much more compact arent they? it will be interesting to see how much camber you get with the RE55's

These are not adjustable except for height. I think they are set at ~340mm HTG at the moment. Will measure properly when the rear gets taken care of.
I honestly couldn't tell you the spring rate (I was told what they were, but can't remember), but they are very firm on the street. Will look at them properly when the rims are off this week. Apparently more circuit/handling oriented than for daily driver duties. Just gotta see if I can put up with it (read: get used to it) daily driven. So used to old, spongy FE2, I think I have gone soft. Also one reason why I am going back to 18" rim/tyre combo on the street. 19's with firm suspension already firm suspension will annoy the crap out of me no end.

:yep:, They do have a good name :).

I think it retails >$2k. I got a very, very good deal ;). Too good to pass up.

I have a similar setup, theres a place down here that do them for about $2500.00 with matching rear spings and shocks. :)

How did you go with the neg camber?
Ok... with the 225 RE55's on the front, was able to basically get max camber of 2.6x* left side & 2.9x* right side. Couldn't wind in any more on the left side as the adjusting bolt was completely wound out. Didn't touch the right side. Note, even with this much camber, my 245/35/19 street tyres clear the coilovers, so that is handy.
Lets see if it yields a result now.
