Anyone who has some free time this weekend, feel free to come out and have a look at the Final round of the NSW Race Championship at Eastern Creek.

There will be Sports Sedans, Combined Touring, HQ, Improved Production, F Ford, F Vee, Production Sports and more. Should be some great racing and EC is an awesome environment.

I'll be racing in Improved Production. If you come out, make sure you come and say hi... I'm in the Corona with the big ass TrackChat sticker on the back bumper. :bravo:

Further details and Improved Production entry list here: http://www.myracing.net.au/html/s02_article/article_view.asp?id=161&nav_cat_id=148&nav_top_id=64

Good luck with Eastern Creek.. I will be stuck home with the kids, but will be joining the others at Wakefield on Monday.

PS - That Torana supersprint car we bought, we finally prepped it (pads, full flush of all fluids etc) for its debut shakedown run (maybe at Wakefield). I hope to join the series that you were racing in at Wakefield with it. I also hope to do regularity at the Festival of Sports cars this October at Wakefield to qualify for Bathurst next year. I notice you IPRA guys are going to be racing there too!! How good is that!

I will look you up if I can get there. Despite the monica "Munroman", I now drive an improved street XR6T Ford Ute but might be in the wife's 330Ci Conv depending on the weather. Did I see you at Wakefield in the Evo a couple of weeks ago dicing with Glen Setons old V8 supercar?

That's awesome Hazza. I MIGHT be at the FOSC Wakefield round depends how I go this weekend. If the car performs faultlessly, I'll probably be there. How good is Bathurst going to be?! I'm excited already! :bravo:

Great stuff, I'm pretty confident the weather will be ok, even if there might be an early shower on Saturday (which is more than fine with me!). I'll probably be camped up on the skid pan somewhere with some other IPRA guys. :waving:

Always happy to say g'day to new faces. It wasn't me in the Evo at Wakefield... I'm not allowed to put that on the track anymore :headbang: but it sounds like whoever it was had some fun!

Thanks for your support everyone, and have a great time if you're going to Wakefield on Monday, wish I could be there! If you do come and say G'day, make sure you let me know you're from TC... I often end up chatting to so many people at race meetings its hard to put faces to names etc.

Yeah Bathurst would be a dream come true. The only thing I heard they may not allow Provisional licence holders to compete. If this is the case I have doubts us regularity guys will actually be allowed to compete either. Hope they let us.

Yep, that is a not negotiable fact.

I'm pretty sure Regularity is running, but not 100% on that one.

Looks like a great line up racing. I'll have to say G'Day to some of the guys I know that are racing too. John Boston in the GTR and Ben Porter in F'Vee.

What a fantastic day of racing!!! They should show it all on TV. I loved it!

Sorry I didn?t come and see you Dave. When I got there in the morning there was no one with your car. I have some shots of it in this thread ----> http://www.trackchat.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=20516#post20516

Looked like you had a ball hunting down that blue Corolla. A few more laps and you would have had him. The racing all day was fantastic!! One day I?ll be out there in the SS.

Yeah, it was awesome fun. I had him everywhere, except he had a little more grunt in a straight line.

Still, was more than happy with 5th position in the trophy race, after starting race 2 from 18th!

Great pics too!

Wow. Is that amount of carnage the "norm" at these events. Holy crap.

Looks like it was a top day otherwise. Well done.

No, that's very unusual. By far the biggest stack I've seen since I've been involved. I've seen some touches here and there, but that's generally it.

I've got through the whole season without having a touch with anyone.
