Alan East Motorsport AEM has booked Wakefield for Thursday 1st November 2007. They had the Dutton Evo at wakefield on Monday.
Alan has offered 10 spots @ approx $120 per car (to be confirmed) to people interested.
There will be no timing provided, so BYO.
The cars already going will be Dutton spec cars, so if this would be a first trip to the track, I would wait for our next Trackchat or similar event.
Please post your interest here ASAP. I will then chase the final cost and get deposits.
Eric? Dunc? John?
Any questions?
Will be there doing my thing with a big white lens :D Wouldnt miss this for the world!

It would be good if you can confirm that you want to come ASAP and I will arrange taking deposits either next week or the following week (as Bathurst gets in the way)

I will send you and Dunc payment details... at this stage you are the only two confirmed so there is probably another 5 or so spots available.

If any spot open up can you let me know? I'm dropping the diff off on my way to Indy,so if all goes well I maybe be able to go. I will probably be there anyway with a Yellow EVO so Might as well have a run while I'm there.

John, At this stage I would expect you would get a spot. Lets see how the diff works out first.

not to take away from the thread but for those interested I'm doing a Speed off the Street day (well at this stage, it could change due to a group booking) Sunday November 18th. Nothing special, its just a day for everyone to give their car some in a controlled environment.
Most of the list is made up of LS1 guys, but Ive left a few spots vacant for any interested people from here and another forum ... just in case!
I was gonna post a new topic just letting you know your welcome, but seeing as theres already one here I'll take advantage of it!

Hey Y2K. Do you have any more info on the November 18th track day. I have a friend who's looking to have his first track experience and I'd bring my car along too. Which track is it at, how much and are there any spots left?
Thanks, mate.
Scotty, still need me to attend this mate?
Need to know asap :) :D

Scotty, I won't be able to bring the Ute. I don't have the diff back, plus I'm flat out making sure there is a certain yellow EVO ready for the day. at this stage i will be there just not driving.

I think you just want to dominate a camry driver in your 351 Cortina.
Shame...Shame...Shame...
P.S. Ask Ben as he may wish to bring his MX-5, which would allow for total domination, if not it would still be a spectacle to see a Bald Man in a Hairdresser's car........................................

Corty still has engine out, heads getting ported and block decked. Will get heaps better airflow and jump up a full compression point. Should be good for at least 50hp. Then its off for suspension, custom corner weighted springs, shocks and bars. So the old Falcon gets all the Camry dominating glory, maybe line ball with the hairdresser!
