This is turning into the bloody Oz Racing Club !!!
Hope I'm still allowed to join in, even though I have the wrong wheels
Looks good Scotty ... when are you going to use them ???

Very nice Scotty. They should go well with your other 1,230 sets of wheels and tires :stick:
On a serious note, are they much lighter than "street" rims?
Yet another item to add to the never ending list of NEEDS
Cheers,
Scott

You will notice I have changed my user title.....:up2sum:
On a serious note, are they much lighter than "street" rims? I am advised they are... I plan to weigh them to compare. I have been led to believe that each rim without tyre may be half the weight of a standard rim.
Yet another item to add to the never ending list of NEEDS  I think someone is selling some 18s and 17s that would be great for the track...

I hear the seller is a dodgy bloke though.
Unfortunately, track rims are on about page 3 of the shopping list at the moment. Bloody hell, I'm talking like a ricer now. :eyes: Did you get an OZ Racing sticker? Maybe I could put that on the front guards? Gotta be worth a second a lap

Plenty Chris. Always have and probably always will. A few things in the new year I think, but absolutely nothing like what Nick has just done to the coupe 4

Surely the loverly lady would look into some rims as a christmas present?...
Or maybe as an engagement present.....

I almost bought that set Scotty. Was not after the rubber, so passed. Great score with them. The OZ Racing rims are supposedly only 8kg! Good unsprung weight saving. They must have been the last black set in Australia.
Very nice rims and rubbers there Scotty.
where did you get the Black Oz rims?
I see Holmart has the silver ones still for sale.
Troy :)
Nice choice of wheels! :)

Troy, The rims came from NVU... same with the 19s
Not sure if I would prefer a different colour, but these were the ones on offer.

I would have preferred a picture of a vege burger or something completely unrelated but yep that helps ever so much, tis all clear to me now ! :)
PS: I saw the thread title again this morning and thought "Another set....Scotty's new track rims???......which ones, he has so many !!"
Have you thought of talking to someone about this obsession with wheels Scotty? As long as you know we are all here for you if you need to get it off your chest and have just recruited a psycho analyst Azza to help also.
