I moved this post to vendor "offers and products" - probably the best place for it. This is a great kit btw, i have this one on my munro, even at the increased price (vs initial offerings) it is extremely good value.

Great for circuit work too.

Yep, I agree, this is still a BARGAIN kit and the AP-Racing gear is top quality. I was looking at this, but there weren't any available, so I grabbed the 6-spot kit from someone else, for a little bit extra. I am very happy.

One thing that it does seem to indicate though, is that HSV bought way too many of these kits for the VZ series - the only series they came on. Was it because they did not expect the VE to come out as early as it did, or the VE Ute come sooner than expected, or not enough VZs ordered perhaps????

Cheers,

Macca

Hey Macca ... that'd be my guess (see above). When the VE pics and info started leaking the VZ really didn't sell well. Once it was released the Maloo basically stopped selling as everyone interested wanted to wait for a VE.

How good has it been for the modification market ... heaps of cars that have significant power increases now have the brakes to match, I reckon it's great. It's a shame the VE brakes are so damn expensive ATM, for a big brake set anyway.
