I'm going tonight.I've been twiddling my thumbs for a few weeks now.
Hopefully i'll be back with a pb:yep: If i get it,the AP's are going straight on as
they've been sitting in my loungeroom for a month now.
It's a hot day!..I hope it doesn't slow me down too much.

Good luck mate ... hope you get there, it is warm though.

I live less than 15 mins from the track and it looks pretty average at the moment. Very gloomy, overcast and the odd rumble of thunder...

Let's hope the weather holds up or blows over, but right now it's not looking good...

Yeh i pulled the plug!....My mate rang me to let me know it's pretty hard at
Penrith.Now i've got a 2 week wait.
Stupid bloody FOXTEL weather channel(603) are still saying its a beautiful day.I'll never use them again to make a judgement. They owe me a bottle of octane boost.I'll use BOM in the future.

It only rained here briefly, maybe 10 minutes or so but it was so hot leading up to it that the road didn't even get wet...

The sun is back out but it's black only a few kms away. Wouldn't mind betting the track is still open though...

Buffy's home page is "Weatherzone" ... a weather site with more options than the BOM ... dead serious !!!

Troy ... you know that Lachie checks the weather in Wagga everyday.

The night went ahead. At 6.45pm i decided on the spur of the moment to go.
I left the MT's at home and went with the Nankangs on.I only got two passes
I managed a 1.774 sixty footer and ran a 12.290/111.93mph.Not bad for the way i drive it to work everyday.I'll be back there in a couple of weeks.

That is a good result on street tyres
Is this an Auto or a M6?
(I'm guessing an Auto given the 60' on Nankangs...)
Track must be sticky... :)

Auto.
The track was good.I drifted a little bit. There was a top fueller there so it must have been set up for him.He ran a 5.5 sec pass and shut off at half track. It was the first time i seen one.Unreal!

Loud suckers aint they. When we went out for one of the first V8O days, their was a Funny Car doing a test and tune. It wasn't so much the volume of this thing when he hit the go pedal, but the PRESSURE in your ears. Im sure a few veterans around here will remember the day. I recorded it all on Scat's video Camera as well so he might be able to dig up the footage.

Ryan, sound is pressure :whip: Air pressure in waves :D

Well done Tone, thats a great 60 foot on that rubber, MT's will see you go even faster.

Has Sonny tightemed up all the shift points to make them "snappy"? I found that mad my SS that little bit faster mate.

Since getting the beefed up box i actually had to back the pressure off a
little bit.1st to 2nd was chirping even at 20/30 kmh gear change.
But if the box can handle it i may put it up again.

Do you know what revs/kmh when you are shifting from 2nd to 3rd?
That would help...Mine is about 125 kmh.Is there anymore left?

Mate to be honest Sony and I spent a long time getting the shift points better. What I can remember is that I requested Sony lift red line by 100 rpm which reluctantly did.

You are best off getting sony to put my A4 specs into yours, tell him I said I dont mind.
