OK lads and lasses I'm sure no one here condones street racing, but consider your self warned. The next time you line up an FPV Typhoon in NSW it may just be plod.

The NSW Police have just taken delivery of a hand full of Typhoons for an operation to target street racing and no doubt they will get some general highway patrol use over the Christmas period.

Yep, I’ve seen 4 in the past 3 weeks, and I keep seeing the same ones over and over again. (They are gold, yellow, a green sort of colour and a blue one). All un-marked, with a big chunky aerial on the passenger side of the boot. This was on Parramatta Rd, M4, Great Western H/Way & Cumberland H/Way. And quite often they will travel in pairs. Last time I saw the yellow one had front-end damage.

So yeh, take care guys.

I had the pleasure of meeting a blue one after overtaking a car doing about 20km/h on the competitors road (inside the gates!) at WSID a few weeks ago.

Apparently that section of road is public...he sat right on my tail until the roundabout then pulled me over when he saw i wasnt going to do anything silly. Decent enough bloke, let me know that was a public section of road i was overtaking on with no indication and then i was on my way.

when i went to see our new rottie pup at blacktown we saw a wrx pulled over by a gt falcon which was a dark green coloured one.you could see by the way the cop slamed the door to his car that the young bloke wa in for a serious lesson on the road rules.

Its not just street racers.

I saw one pull over a crappy old van in the back streets of Ermington.

Poor guy probably broke the speed limit down a large hill, as the van didn't look like it could do it under its own steam.

Yeah they're not just targeting hoon, they've been doing laps on the m4 between wallgrove and prospect hwy all week..

I've seen a bright orange one and a pale blue one so far.
Common indicator between all seems to the the short stubby antenna on the rear left of the boot

Thanks for the heads up guys.

There has been a dark green XR6 turbo cop car roaming around concord alot. Every single time he drives past me he always pulls over no matter what and then speeds off.....very weird!
