VT~VZ aerial mast swap

My aerial mast snapped (on my VZ wagon) i think everything is otherwise ok (mounts/rope/motor etc). Has anyone just changed the mast only? Is there a quick way to do this, other than pulling the whole asembly out?

Duncan its quite simple change,is all the plastic teeth out of the unit or is it brocken in there ?
