Thanks for the thumbs up guys,it was a hell of day tuning this thing,we made this power on 8 to 9psi, it only saw 10psi for a brief moment in the midrange as wen we built this,we knew the engine would have the turbo for breakfast, but for wat nick wanted we stayed with a gen t turbo that was modified, which would suited nicks needs. If this engine saw 12psi + it would have easily made over 450kw's +,it has so much potential and it was well biult ,the torque figure was phenominal,at 2700rpm it had 1200nm's ! and carried that thru to 900+ nm's,even in the end of the run it still saw 800nm's,on 7psi it saw 350awdkw's all day run after run,not a sign of detonation as realising the iron block runs 7deg hotter,i made a mod to make this engine run cooler, the hottest coolant temp we saw 92deg, it was floating round 85 deg all day even wen it was powered up back to back.

It sounded so sweet on the dyno, the engine wasnt even working it was making the grunt effortlessly, and it certainley feels that way on the road as nick found out on the drive bak ,he went to overtake a car and he squeezed the throttle barley and oh no !. I would like to thank nick for giving me the opportunity to take this project on and his patience thru the biuld & spending the day with me and helping me thru the day,it was a real pleasure, and a big thanks to Jim from Dart Automotive for the use of his 4WD Mian Line dyno.Nick will do detailed write up of his experience & pics and video's and i can tell you he took plenty ! also thanks to all the guys who followed the build !

regards sonny

I don't think Nick has got out of the car yet....
my build took a little while too.
The first few nights it was home I went ultra-paranoid that someone was going to break in and steal it.
Maybe Nick's camped out in the garage with a baseball bat and flashlight

Scotty

Nick definately took the coupe home last night.

As I saw it... didnt get a ride though... but soon I am sure...

The sound of the car is just beautiful.... the ride height is awesome... (not sure about speed bumps though)...

Nick was saying that he hasn't been game to go much past 1/3 throttle or something similar...

Congrats Nick and Sonny....

Cant wait to see it at the track.... probably time to get bigger brakes...:)

Well the Coupe is finished. :D

My god, what a result. It will take me a while to get used to it I think, the power is unbelievable. Just a squeeze of the throttle is all that's required to push you back in the seat. Big thanks to Sonny, delivered exactly what I wanted and the workmanship is outstanding. Big thanks to Jim at DART Automotive for the use of the AWD dyno ... and a big thanks to everyone that has shown an interest in the car.

I have some videos on YouTube ... never done this before so I hope this works.

376 kw at all four is an awesome result!!! Love the way the rears start rolling before the fronts - something to do with the coupe awd system being rear drive biased???

Yep ... it splits the drive based on torque, if you are cruising off throttle or even on very light throttle the front drive stops all together.
