I am struggling a bit with axle tramp since getting a few more ponies recently and I know is going to be even worse on the track so I am looking at ways of minimising it. I can control it to an extent by adjustment of my Tein shocks but I was wondering what the Harrop diff cover was like in regards to controlling axle tramp? What are peoples experiences on here?

I have heard that they help, I have one on the Coupe 4 but it's primarily for the increased oil capacity ... I have never had any axle tramp problems though so I'm not much help there.
I can say that I have never had any issues with it. Sorry ... that's probably not much help.
I have only ever had axel tramp in the SS and its not slow. I wonder what it is, I know most know (I dont), that causes it?
Use to get it all the time in my 202 CU Kingswood :yep:

Daniel, start with the Noltec diff mount insert & the rear outer crossmember bushes. I have had them on the car since I started drag racing & while they do not completely eliminate axle tramp, they do help minimise it. I'd buy the Harrop diff cover for the extra oil capacity, like Nick & Dunc did.

The diif cover and noltec, nolthane stuff help me out with the tramps. I would say go for it. If anything it will help with cooling anyway and the new mounts and fitting tighten everything up. A worth while mod

A word of warning, if you have a di filipo twin 3 inch system the harrop diff covers dont fit.

Ive been working on a oil cooler system for the IRS diff. It will fit the Harrop cover as well as the standard diff too. Ill post some pic's later

Interesting. I might do this in stages over the coming weeks. I will start with the Noltec diff mount insert and crossmember bushes and if they dont do enough I will add the Harrop diff cover. I also only have the Diffilpo twin 2.5" so fitting the diff cover should be ok. Thanks for the advice and the part numbers guys.
Cheers!
