Its a great looking peice of kit......
Ahh if only the wife loved me that much...
Styling is just right i reckon, i love it. Throw the LS9 in it! I wonder if they will ever do another Monaro.

Styling is great ... but do you honestly think it would be comparible to a GTR ?

Nick as much as i doubt it would be comparible you have to admit, that if holden could produce a super car to rival the GT-R you would be there wouldnt you?

I think if you get under 5 sec 0 - 100Kph, into supercar territory (as they say), then i dont think it matters what type of car it is you drive!!
It just depends on how you want to get there.
My opinion ofcourse.

There is an awful lot more to it than 0-100 ... a true supercar does everything exceptionally, not just the forwards stuff.

Just whack a 700hp 438ci V8 in it and it would be just perfect, hey Dunc?
I was just reading about it on a news website, some finishing aspects I don't like but the overall package I think is pretty porn-like, I like. It almost looks E90 M3 on second glance, again I like.
They say history repeats itself, lets hope so. :D

I'd like to think they would build it, i can only wish. I dont think it would compare to a GTR, or a Porsche (or various other supercars) but hey it's a 2-door commodore costing a fraction of the price. I would still love one though. I think it's porn like too.

'course it will!
Does everyone remember when there were "no plans" for a production version of the Commodore Coupé? Hmmm..
I say we'll be seeing this baby in about 2 years. :yep:
Cheers,

That is, in my opinion, the best looking commodore ever! Looks absolutely sensational.
It's a shame to think that if it did somehow make it into production, that some aspects of it would have to be changed.
For sale: One slightly used Kidney..
Will sell with 6 mths warranty for 140,000... or consider trade for HSV coupe 60\

I think Ken (Animal) tried to place an order but they wouldnt let him.

Even if you could place an order ... imagine the wait !!!
I'd be reluctant to order anything until I could see the production version, take off all the cool stuff, put on smaller wheels, increase the ride height ... might look quite ordinary ???
Don't get me wrong ... I love the concept, it's just that I can see A LOT of changes before it becomes reality ... unfortunately.

I think the same thing happened with the other monaro concept car, the initial groundswell of interest / order requests had an impact - so i've been told. But I think you are right Nick, they would change the really sexy aspects of this car and it would look different in production trim. However i would quickly fix that! I would order one in a heartbeat. That's just me being silly i guess.

Nothing wrong with silly ... if it goes to production and retains 80% of what the concept has it will be sensational.

They would need alot of expected sales to make it worth producing this. I think i heard that every panel is different, which adds up to lots of $$$.
And with large car V8 sales not looking healthy into the future, i dont expect this one to make it:swear:
I agree with Nick, by the time it was productionised (no side pipes thats for sure), it would be half as good....still good though:yep:

Sorry - I didn't mean literally. But I'd order one in a heart-beat. I did however put in a definite "expression of interest" for the W 427.

Oh ok. I got a bit excited for a while there
