I appologise if I am telling this to people who already know, or if its old news, but :flip1: to you for no telling me already!!

I yesterday found out that, and then how to make a PS3 a wireless network media player!!! I am so pumped about this news - especially as i was about to buy one!! (network media player that is)

For those who dont know - a network media player is a device that connects to a media server (typically a networked PC with movie a music files on it) and plays movie and music files accross your network on your TV, surround sound etc - hence, the movie files you download and watch on your PC can now be watched on you TV!!

So now my PS3 plays wirelessly my movies and my recently converted to MP3 CD collection - without having to move the 100s of GBs of data to the PS3 - and I will now embark on the mission of converting my DVDs to mpeg4s - soooo cool, and so convenient!!

I just needed to share this, as I am excited, and I know there are a few PS3 owners on here that may not have been aware that this was possible.

With the new PS3 you'll be spending more time indoors and not so much in the sun?
