After seeing everyone else's engine bays and how nice they looked with different types of Engine covers I started scouring Ebay for some.

Here they are, not a go fast mod but they tidy up the engine bay 100%.

Oh yeah those covers do look a lot tidier, I am in need of similar as my engine has opted to streak and is in need of some admin. How much were they if you dont mind me asking.

what I did...I got some Twin covers with the Chevy emblem on them $ 120 unpainted..sanded the emblem off..got them resprayed in silver with a black shadow effect with "SS 50" badges on them finished in a high gloss of clear..
it suite the ute "SS 50" like a factory unit...I'll post some pics soon...just waiting for some more deatail work and some braid still to go on....
