I have been meaning to stick this up for a few weeks now ...

My darling wife suprised me with a very cool present for my birthday, I had no idea and she did the research and organised it all by herself ... very impressed.

Here it is ...

http://trackchat.com.au/media/data/500/DSC04064.JPG

First project ... fitting a power steering cooler with Scotty this weekend.

2nd project ... fitting my brake master cylinder brace before Wakefield.

3rd project ... speakers / amp / wiring in the Coupe 4 with Scat ... sometime. :hmmm:

:nutbag:

Thanks Buffy ... love you.

Very nice Nick, but completely useless for projects 1, 2 and 3. Two items will do the job for those nicely: 1 hammer and 1 swear box :lmao:

Cheers,

Scott

I have a similar set of toys..a 9 draw cabinet that gets used on special occasions...like the ute...cleaned with degreaser and place right back...5 years old and they look like they've never been used...

after owning tools like that...you can't accept anything less in quality..the good thing is that they last you a life time if you look after them...

Great score Nick. :)

I bought dad the same Sidchrome socket set a year or two ago (though I think I use it more than he does ;)). It's fantastic - the difference between using those and a $2 cheapie from the junkshop is like night and day.

Cheers,
- Febs.

Yeah, my Dad (LAME) only used Snap-on. Damned expensive, but fantastic quality. From memory, they come with a lifetime warranty?

(LAME = Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, when he retired he was the only LAME in Qantas who was licenced on every aircraft TAA/Australian Airlines/modern Qantas domestic had ever flown, DC3, DC4, DC6, DC9 Electra, Fokker F27 & F28, Boing 727, 737, 767, Airbus plus a few others I can't remember!)

Now to finish it off nicely Nick. Leave the coupe with me, the GTS with tigs and Chris can entertain the boys while you and Buffy piss off to Port Douglas or somewhere similiar for a week by yourselves.

Cheers,

Scott

Be careful what you offer Scott ... after 5 years I'd happily leave my car with you for week away without kids

So when do we drop them off :stick:

My goodness what little artists you have there hahaha I go crazy when my little fella draws with pen on the wall.... Probably wasn't funny at the time but now im sure its hillarious.:lmao: The look on their faces says it all, aren't you lucky they weren't in your garage!!!!

Easy solution:

Scott can mind Nick's kids at Sonny's workshop, they can paint the new dyno cell for him...:woohoo:

They do look rather proud of their efforts don't they? A glimps of the future for me maybe...
