Most people already know where i get my work and servicing done to my pride and joy.

Two reasons for this is because (1) i like the laid back approach and no bs advice given of which you come to expect from a reputable shop and (2) the little things like ...lending me stuff for private days, just rockin' up and be able to have a chat and/or a laugh and just generally being able to turn up a a moments notice with a concern i may have with my ride only for them to say 'no problem at all mate'.

So it's no surprise to me when my wife asks to have HER pride and joy the mighty 'Suzuki Swift' taken in for servicing. And to be quite honest i wouldn't want her to take it anywhere else.

Their newest recruit Austin did the servicing and whilst i was chatting i mentioned my power steering pump was noisy and he gave me some advice....bingo problem seems to be solved. It's the little things like this that stick with me.

I know people here have similar stories on the shop of their choice and it's all good but this is just my experience.I wouldn't post this stuff anywhere else for fear of shit being thrown my way but seeing as we all seem to be of the same ilk here,i thought it would be appreciated in the way this post is intended.

If people new to the game stumble across this site and you read this then give them a call...imho you'll be glad you did.

Thankyou Dave,Dale,Chris and Austin....i couldn't be with a better bunch of blokes!

Great feedback Darren ... CHE are without a doubt one of the few workshops in Sydney that I would let anywhere near my cars.

:bravo:

Mate i was going to ring Sonny because as we all know he runs a quality outfit also  but because i procrastinate so bloody much with my decision making i stumbled across these guys and did some research on them as well.

And the fact i can be a lazy so'n'so and can drop in on the way home from work if need be was undeniable factor in my decision to take my rig to them

To me, that is the difference between a good workshop and a great workshop.

I've been to a few where you're made to feel like you ought to feel blessed just to be talking to the apprentice :).

Being able to rock up, have a chat and always feel welcome is a great achievement in creating and maintaining a top-notch work environment.

This is whats missing in QLD these days. After spending many $10000's in some places the focus has changed from being an enthusiasts workshop to a Option A, B or C workshop for dealerships and not wanting to take the time for those that have come before. I understand why, there is more money is doing dealership work and likely less hassles too.

In stark contrast i dropped into CHE on my last trip to Sydney and was immediately made to feel welcome, they checked a code for me on the car and had the time for a brief chat without me being swept out the door in 5 mins.

ill be bringing my next car to Sydney for the mods and tune as i don't feel the locals in QLD care much these days.

Yep... been to a couple of their Dyno days and have always heard good things about this shop, only problem it's like 40min drive for me to get there. :(

Dyno day would be good Dale....how about it big fella :D

Some of you may or may not know but my TBA tb before today was giving me grief with regard to my engine wanting to stall at cold idle or when slowing down coming to a stop.Carparks were the worst where you had to be on your gaurd and 'catch' it before it stalled....nightmare!

Well i went over there this morning and Dale decided to give it one more crack before we change it over to another tb.Seems to have worked so far but the test will come from 4am cold start ups and driving to work but i was VERY happy with it on the test drive and on the way home so all good thus far...thanks mate

Good to have a chat to the other boys as well and i'm always made to feel welcome which is my point about CHE.Nothing seems to be too much trouble and i think this is what VooDoo was referring to in an earlier reply.

I did notice however Dale that my fuel usage went up to over 20l per 100ks...any ideas how that happened mate :stick:

Cheers guys,
Darren

Another happy customer here. I have been to a few high profile workshops in the past with previous cars, the others didn't seem to want to help at all.

Well worth the 50+mins in travelling time to get there.

Exactly...50 mins is nothing in the overall scheme of things when it all comes together and you enjoy the company :yep:

I recently got back from a trip to Kiama and the car performed faultlessly which was no surprise really. Thanks Dale...even the little woman had a drive ;)

When i had my Tex fitted up some time ago now i also had the remote bleeder lines hooked up as well. Now as my sig would suggest  rather than stuff even the simplest task up,i decided to get in contact with Dale who came over not that long ago to help me out and showed me just how easy it is to change to clutch fluid.

It gave him something to do which enabled me to learn something new and also it was good to catch up mate..............thanks for your help :)

I went around to to see if I could have the rims that i bought for drag racing purposes fit over my brake calipers and Dave was a very reluctant at to have a crack. When he saw that i'd had a go at it myself he knew that i was serious and so he and Chris got stuck in and did a stella job as per usual.....because they now farken fit :woohoo:

Thanks again guys :burnout:
