We were going over some logs from August last year. When we were first doing VE Commodore Mafless (using spreadsheets solvers!) but running a stock airbox. Here is a little chart showing the fall in intake temps, comparing OTR vs Stocker airbox below. Now i am trying to chase down the original timeslip from back then to confirm ambient/track temps however BOM data says temps were very similar for both days (August last year vs last week).

This hows how much better OTR's are at getting cooler air into the system quicker.

Also Mick, we checked your 0-100km/hr stats for last weeks runs.. 3.3 seconds!

for the circuit? no sorry.

I might try and get some logs comparing driving around generally, vs an OTR. Same route, same day, see if there is any detectable difference on the log, just putting around.

3.3 sec 0 to 100 kph that is quick i thought it would be in the 4's for sure.

It's much quicker on the strip with a surface and tyres mick. You couldnt get that sort of traction on the road though.

That's pretty awesome ... OzTrack somehow figured out that my Coupe hit 100 in the 2's when I went 10.9. Mick's 3.3 seems to back that up.

I've said it before, but I'm blown away by the sort of times you can get out of these cars. I'm glad you guys have taken back the No. 1 position ... sensational work.

:bravo:

that sounds about right

the VT did it in 1.62sec and pulls 1.357 g's and takes 80ft to do it :)
we are hoping for around 1 sec 0-100 when it comes back
