Wakefield Park Track Day

Evening All.

Haven't been logged in for a while, but had a good reason to get on tonight.

Together with a group of mates, we have a track day @ Wakefield Park booked for the Friday before the long weekend in June.

At this stage we are short a few places, due to the "Gunnas" of the group pulling out.

Was wondering, at short notice, if anyone would be interested in filling a place to come join us.

It is a completly private hire day, only those who have pre-paid deposits will be allowed to run. We are hoping to have around 30 drivers, to enusre the costs are kept down, but track time is maintained.

At this stage, costs are Hire ($235) + Licence ($50).

We are organising this day in conjunction with Mike Navybox's School of Driving. It's no liimited to any make or model, with the current grid made up of Commodores, Utes, Porsches, Subarus even a Supra and maybe a Cortina ...

Sounds tops, but I think we have round 4 of supersprint on the Sunday (1st June) preceding your day , so I'll have to give it a miss this time.

$235 track hire fees with 30 cars? How have the organisers come to that price?

Well ......

At this stage the cost is $235, however we are hoping to get more cars, no more than 30 total, which obviously drops the price dramatically.

However, Wakefield have just increased all their prices dramatically, so our original figures for 15 were good, but now need more to offset the increase.

I would like to be on the waiting list. I think the family might be heading away for the weekend, if so, I cant make it. Should know Monday.
