Spent a day karting with a client in QLD a few months back, 2 stroke Clubman race Karts ... man do they go fast :eek:

Here's a few pics, pity you can't hire these things, make the rental karts feels VERY gutless (that's not hard), I must admit, I was asking how much they cost by the end of the day ... you can never have enough toys !!!

They are little weapons, those things Nick. I had a mate who used to race them and he took us out to the track at Lithgow of all places with a couple of his karts. Spent the afternoon hooning around in them and had a ball.

You're right about them being chalk and cheese to "hire karts". There really is no comparison.

Have a client with too much money & a lot of free time ... so he has lots of cool toys.

Formula Ford sitting in the shed anyone ... ;)

He races a fair bit, has 3 of these karts and is into cars in general. We head up to QLD every 2 months for a meeting with them so he said to come up for an extra day and we spent it racing the karts around.

He takes delivery of his new WM Caprice this week, I'll get a drive in December ... :D
