Worlds fastest stock Ve?

I was out at wsid tonight and managed to improve on my pb, it was a 13.65.

1st run - 15.39, we wont talk about that one. :p

2nd run - 13.492@103.67 with a 1.999 60', great pass and a new pb by almost 2 tenths.

3rd run - 13.172 @104.56 with a 1.957 60', best pass i have ever done. :dance:

list off mods- air filter removed
- bilstein shocks in rear

thats it.

Now im going to try and get a 12 untouched.

No I'm still waiting on tires, i was shocked when i saw the time , looked at the other lane-10.99, yep it definitely was a 13.1. :nutbag:

Yep its a M6, it is all in the practice, i have done about 40 passes so far in the last 5 months.

The clutch is a bit second hand, hopefully it holds out for a few more meets. :D

I will give it a few more runs over the next few weeks to try and get a 12, then the bolt-on record might have a new contender. :D

The only mods are a set of bilstein shocks i fitted to stop the axle tramp, the lowered springs that got fitted before i picked up the car and i ran it with no air filter, thats it.

Fantastic time mate, a 1.9 60' on a stocker shows your a pretty handy peddler too!

Thats a top effort mate, hope you can crack a 12 it will be impressive.
You did have the tailgate down i hope? there's an easy tenth or two there.

have you tried a little extra weight over the wheels. then again going from your 60' times it seems to be hooking up ok.

I gave it a few more go's but didn't get the 12, now i have some mods done and have gone 12.4 so far.

Actually when i raced with the tailgate down it runs 1-2mph slower.

I am now racing with slicks so no extra weight is needed.
