Open to offers VX GTS Rims

Im selling soon the rims off my GTS to replace with the same thing. These rims are all scratched , 2 badly , 2 not to bad. I thought they may be alright as track rims for someone. I havent bought the new set yet and this sale will offset the cost for me a bit. I dont really no what to ask for them? Anyone intersted?

Why not just get them repaired mate ... I had a stone chip fixed up on a Coupe 4 rim recently, perfect result.

My old man got his wheels repaired at the same time, he had scratches pretty much all the way round all 4 wheels, cost him $500 to fix the whole lot and they look like new.

I rang a place a thornleigh that does rim repairs and they said about $350 per rim!! Where did you get your rim repaired?

He fixed the Coupe 4 rim for $99 ... 4 rims on my Dad's BMW 325ci for $500 ... 3 rims on my Mum's BMW 530i for $330.

Wow gave him a call and he said for very damaged rims $130each......recons you wont be able to pick it. Big difference to $350 each. I just hope he does it properly. And what about spraying while there still on the car....they would wont to be carefull. Is this how they did yours Nick?

Yep ... trust me mate, you'll be stoked. I watched him do one, it's a very fine spray and there is no risk of it getting on the car.

I wouldn't recommend anyone that I wasn't happy with, he fixed 8 wheels for us and they are 100% PERFECT, you would never pick they ever had damage. At the price he charges I'll get him to fix any future scratches / marks straight away.

Stevie_D and his old man had Ossie fix some wheels up too ... if you want a 2nd opinion. It's the same company that fixed Wombie's rim (different franchise) and he was very happy too.

Besides, the wheels were fixed about a month ago, so they ARE still perfect ... :yep:

Thanks for the tip Nick. There all done and certainly saved me a few dollars. He had a new bloke on and he stuffed the colour on one of the rims, which he is comeing back to fix after a hip operation I think it was. But the other 3 are better than I was expecting. Its pretty hard to pick that there done. Certainly would go down that road again before buying new rims. Hell of a nice bloke as well.
