New Pink Slip Rules for NSW

I just found out after my wife registered her car that the RTA have changed the rules regarding the need to obtain a pink slip when registering you car.
Now vehicles up to 5 years old are exempt from pink slips, up from 3 years.
The RTA making sensible decisions that benefit us???? Whats next, shorter ques and frendly service at their offices?

So if i buy a new car every 5 years i never need to get a pink slip inspection again. nice.

I think the change came in last year, makes sense really ... which as others have pointed out is a nice change considering it's the RTA we're talking about.
