Mid-year, Duncan, Nick & I each bought a lap timer kit for more accurate timing for track days http://www.laptimerholders.com/proddetail.asp?prod=UL%2D241. They came from the U.S. without problem from the website above. Cost was/is US$235 + shipping... landed here it was ~AU$350. Well worth a look for people thinking of doing more track days. Plenty of functions & is customisable too. You can also download the info to your PC to view all lap times. Only one transmitter need to be set up at the track, even if multiple receivers are used. A cheaper way would be to purchase just the receiver as one of us will almost always be at an event, so can provide the transmitter.

Are there any others who might have these but are not driving?

I'll have mine Scotty ... we can just take turns. It's very easy to swap it from one car to another.

Of course if someone wants to lend you one then even better. :D

I use one of these: http://www.aimrace.com.au/tgitaly1.htm

Really reliable and a great resource to have in the car. Thinking of upgrading to a dedicated dash system soon - so will post details if/when I decide to sell it.
