As some of you will know, after apparently winning the Belgian GP recently, Lewis Hamilton was relegated to 3rd place post-race, after Stewards imposed a 25sec penalty for passing Massa by taking a short-cut. Hamilton was under the impression he had re-dressed the situation by "allowing" Massa to repass very briefly (like for about one nano-second) before re-passing again a moment later, and then pressed on to win. The interesting part is that whilst the team went to the appeal armed with all sorts of video and technical information, the hearing was short and sweet, with the Stewards simply stating that under the rules the team was simply not permitted to appeal. Stop/Go, Drive-through, and time penalties are not appealable. So Hamilton's championship lead remains at 1 point over Massa.

Ridiculous ruling, Hamilton had it all over Raikkonen (it was Raikkonen he passed, not Massa) and he let him back in front after being pushed wide at the chicane whilst trying to pass ... there is no doubting that Hamilton was following Raikkonen down the next straight. Him pulled back in behind him (so Raikkonen MUST have been going faster) and then pulled out and passed him under brakes at the end of the straight.
Then Raikkonen stuck it in the wall anyway ( ... AGAIN !!! )
I think they just want to keep the championship as close as possible.
