Hey Scat ... tentative agreement with Dale was for a 25 car maximum. He said that with anymore than that the day is just too hard and too long.

No minimum and with close 20 it's looking like a perfect turn out ... shouldn't have a problem getting a few more on the list for a 25 car turn out.

thanks heaps troy. ive got my wideband in and running although i have not wired in the two wires to the dongle as yet. i got a plx unit off dale of all people actually, he was heaps helpfull and had it in a day for me and gave me a hand with setting it up. i need all the help i can get. cant wait to catch up with you guys again. dale has been tempting me for bigger things when i mentioned more power, but i want to get a base handle on my tuning first befor i get too serious.

Guys not going to run my car up on the dyno this weekend as my tuner is coming up to give it a retune next week (couldnt get here any earlier) and advised me to wait till he's checked the tune and happy with it all, kinda dissapointed but would rather do the right thing in regards to the new motor.

A good morning was had by all. Snags, drinks and cars couldn't really go wrong. It was good to catch up with everyone. My car made a wee 231.1 which was ok. It was down a itytle from its last run. By hey its within 5% of previous runs so all is well. Now its time to get on woith more mods.

Duncs and Eric cars did well.
Hope you guys had fun at carting and didn't get to much of a wet rear.

That was a great day guys, congrats to all involved and a big thanks to the Castle Hill Exhaust guys and their "helpers"... :)

My dead stock A4 VZ SS made a best of 211 rwkw, and i think i was probably the most suprised person there. I actually said to Nick before it went on that i'd be feeling a bit embarrassed if it didn't crack the 180 mark... :)

Was great to meet up with quite a few of you, seemed like a pretty friendly bunch given that Dale was the only person there that i'd actually met before today !!

The go-karting afterwards was sensational too, with some MASSIVE slides happening once the rain started coming down... :shock:

I even admitted in public how good Wade's weapon sounded, well done for bowing to the peer pressure too, cant wait to see that thing at the track.

It was a good day met up with old friends made some new friends , i wasnt goingto have a run but Dave (Tigerss) insisted i have one , same as he did with Quadcams ( for a ford it does sound awsome , but we wont say it to loud will we luke) .. I ended up with 283rwkw running rich as , should have the tune touched up during the up coming week.. Troy and Linda the BBQ was cooked to perfection ..

yep, it's been said, but a big thanks to Dale & Dave and all their 'little helpers'. Fantastic effort by the CHE boys, everything ran smoothly and was great to catch up with some old and new faces.

Wade, that Ford sounded fantastic, nearly as nice as Mark's 'old school' Holden (it's a shame the LS1 doesn't sound as nice as the Holden V8). LSX-402 (Duncan's) car sounded fantastic and put up some awesome numbers to back up the sound. Lautray's numbers not too shabby either.

Best of all dale said there was still a little bit in it once i tweak the tune up:up2sum: . big thanks goes out to scotty,troy and dale for a great day albeit a short one for me. a personal thanks to luke for getting me started with my tuning a fortnight ago. the result shocked both of us, cause we knew it still had a long way to go.

It was well organised and run very well. Damn i feel guilty now, i didnt do a thing (except hog a 13hp kart when perhaps i shouldnt). Karts were "interesting" and the self declared "undefeated" karting champion Mick keeps his crown (for now :up2sum:)..

It was good to see everyone getting into the social side of things and leaving the nonsense elsewhere. This is what being a member of a forum SHOULD be all about ... plus owners of V6's and Fords or whatever else are always more than welcome. Hopefully we can start to get a broader range of makes to the next one.

Highlights for me:

Wades XR8 ute ... anyone that wasn't impressed by that was either dead or a dumbass
Mark's SUS engined Holden ... :shock: how good did it sound.
Proof that home tuning can and does work (translated ... Team Russo & PR (1/2) pulling some good numbers)
The fact the almost everyone mingled and enjoyed themselves getting into the social side of things.

I bought along the better half's son, and a non car enthusist mate. The young bloke counldnt stop talking about it all day, saying to his brother when we got home "look, I saw this car that in the magazine!" and Ken was throughly impressed with the calibar of cars that were there - well done to all of us i reckon.

Oh and Dave, mate, you crack me up, even more when the bourbon turns off the political correctness filter :lol:
