Throughly enjoyed myself, was nice to meet you all!

Troy, Was very impressed with your driving, and the handling of your car, awesome!

Thanks to Troy, his partner, and Sonny for giving me lifts also.

Nick :bow: My car was shaking when I was behind you at the lights. I don't know whether its that mother of an exhaust that did it, or if my car was in fear. Both I think.

That is one unbelievable ride you have.

Thanks Bomi (& Gill), Scat (& Chris), Jimbo, Sonny & Kyle ... great day. Good to see the SV300 out for a nice long run too. That's what they are made for.

Basically we went over the mountains on the Great Western Highway, then we took the road to Janoline Caves at the bottom of the mountain after Hartley. Fair bit of driving actually, but heaps of fun. First good long run in the Coupe ... averaged 15l / 100kms for fuel ... pretty bloody good considering there was a fair bit of spirited driving and it's almost 7 litres worth of V8 pushing 500hp at the wheels. :D

Nice little warm up for tomorrow's fun & games ... see you all bright and early.

Weather was great for cruising. Bit too harsh light for great auto photos but meh.. you can only work with what you have been given i guess :)

Looking forward to tomorrow, god hope wakefield gets some cloud cover!

Hey all,

Thanks to everyone for a great day, even I was suffering from white knuckle syndrome! I love the cars fellas and Kyle you have some awsome photos there too. :thumbs:

It seems I have some work to do on my driving so I'm not taking corners at 20km/hr!!!!!! Is there such a thing as a scaredy cat rev head? Didn't think so! :eyes:

Guess that just means I'm a scaredy cat with an appreciation of fine cars :drool:

Gilly, you'll have to get Troy to take you to a skid pan day. With the wet track, everything happens slower, no (little?) chance of hurting Troy's car, and you'll learn a lot. Troy'll have fun videoing you as well, and if he behaves himself, you could even let him have a drive..... only if he's good though!!!

(seriously, you'll love it, you'll learn heaps about car control and have a ball doing it, you've got to do it in a RWD V8 though.....)

BTW, you missed a Bodacious Cowboys gig at the basement last week. Last minute thing they put on. Started at 1am and played till 3.
