Crap that's cheap ... good to see HSV is still happy to screw over current owners to clear stock.

54k for a clubby, that is bloody cheap and the GTS :nutbag: . If only it was october next year when I will be in the market again.
Nick it is harsh to the new owners but like the responce I got in the motor mag when I wrote to them it will happen again and again. Sales are what HSV are after not keeping customers happy. We the VT to VY GTS owners know this one well. Bringing out the VE lost the real name GTS and the price for the older GTS's plunged and the brand GTS as unique and special with it.
Please do not take offence current VE GTS owners but the price does reflect the less optioned package difference between clubby and GTS unlike the near $100k on roads price like in the VT to VY GTS models. I only paid $75k new as they could not sell the last run. Just like what the HSV dealers are doing now they can not sell them so huge discounts apply. Now my old GTS is worth about 25k if that. The good thing about that is I get to keep it as it is pointless selling it. I added up with the retail value and options my old gts would of asked a premium of $99500 inc on roads. It was about 20k back then and it is 20k now. No real difference. Stock has to move and being screwed over as a new HSV owner will continue.
I do like the VE Clubby/GTS and would get a new one in a hartbeat if I was in the market but I would prefer a W427.

I find it funny that the stigma of owning a petrol hungry V8 still exists.
Fuel is now under a dollar a litre, yet the price of V8's has dropped hugely.
Very odd
Holden need to bring back ads showing utes doing donuts.
They need to ignite some passion, not "Holden. Doing it better" or some other such nonsense that they are running at the moment.
(See, it is so uninspiring that I can't name their current add campaign that they have going - Yet everytime I hear "Thunderstruck", I picture a Ute going sideways)

Don't worry, that's all about to change seedy.. D.O.D. will (hopefully) make it all palatable again..

I would be scared to see one of them in in person in white. It would cost me 150k. I will avoid it thanks
