Went to wsid tonight and got myself a new pb.:smiles:
Car has russo performance otr cai , 3inch x force exhaust , hsv diff , textralia z grip clutch, russo performance custom maffless tune and cam i am running mt et streets but i think they are letting me down now not of the line so much but through the gear changes i am breaking traction it may be time to get some slicks.
60 ft - 1.687
95.72 mph mid track
119.14 mph
ET - 11.556
I changed gears way to early third to fourth so i still think i can get better and there is another 1/2 a tenth in the 60 ft so i will keap trying to get a 11.3 or close then it will be time to put the russo bmf cam in and see what can be done with that.

Good job mick and team russo.

Nick the W427  from memory with it's last and best run yielded a 12.59,i'm not entirely sure on the mph but i'm thinking it was around the 115 mark.Prior to that was doing mid to high 13's at best

His best run when we left @ 10PM was 12.4 @ 112MPH. He said a previous run had netted a 118MPH but slower ET. On his 3rd run he tried a 4000RPM Launch, but the clutch peddle was playing silly buggers and wouldnt lift off the floor for the 1st -> 2nd or 2nd -> 3rd (Cant remember which).

Really nice guy, said its been tuned by CV Performance, netting about 330/350 RWKW with just a tune. The car looks really good in the flesh, WAAAAAAY better than the HSV Media Pics.

Best thing about what Mick and Russos are doing is showing step by step whats needed to get faster and faster. Looking forward to the BMF :nutbag: cam results see if the lightweight 10.7 can be bettered.

Hey guys.

I went to WSID with the W427 and also shot the video footage of Mick's car.

The HSV has run a 12.52@118.0 2.0 60' with the standard street tyres.

We bolted on a set of 245/40/18 MT and took it out last week but the MPH had disappeared and best clean run was 12.40@112.72 with a high 1.8 60'

Not sure where the speed went ?

Here are some of Mick's runs

The black Monaro is another mates car that i went down to also film.

His best run that night was 11.4@125, stock LS1 6 speed with nitrous

Cool vids, congrats on the PB Mick.

Also interesting about the 427 MPH Johnny. What sort of rwkw does it make?

I think last week it showed 322 rwkw.

The tune was also tweaked so it will have to go back on the rollers.

The runs where not logged, otherwise we may have picked up on something.

Up to the 660 it was good but after half track it was dropping off compared to the last meeting.

Thats being consistent there Mick , these are heavy cars to punt down the track so the mid 11 slips are quite impressive really. There arn't many getting their VE's down the track that quick .

cheers
