Hi guys just wondering if any one has some suggestionns on fitting 28/9 hoosiers under the old girl, i have raised it back to standard height with vt calais struts springs and shocks, but at the track last week for tuning it was scraping quite a bit, looks to be on the outer lip were the door meets the guard and the guard meets the rear bar, dont really want to risk tapping the lip over with a nylon headed hammer as i have in the past with other cars, as i like the paint as it is, any suggestions on the best way to do this would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

yes gaurds can be rolled without hurting the paint as long as u use someone good...not a cowboy

although if its rubbing at the corner join between rear bumper and rear guard then there isnt a way really around this as its a mounting point there and has brackets

They can be with TLC. I rolled 3 of my car's guards, and our workshop rolls them all the time; brand new VE Commodores pre-delivery included.

The only guards that crack are typically early-shape Commodores, Corolla's and other various P-plate vehicles which have obvious amounts of bog placed in the guard.. Which the customers signed and have been advised of this because it didn't matter to fit their 20's.

I had my guard rolled an pumped out about 2cm extra without any signs of cracking paint. Only cost $150 for both but I am sure i got lucky. He used a tool he used for hot rod guards he made up but sorry no details and he wont talk about it.
Maybe try hot rod shops as they may have some ideas.
