Been to sydney a few times, the amount of traffic always spins me out.
Go on one of the jet boat harbour wild ride things, awsome. One of the other things i enjoyed was a harbour criuse ,checking out all the harbour front places with a bit of history. The underground oyster bar is up there aswell.
+1 for beer in Darling Harbour with fellow Trackchatters (I work in Darling Harbour..nice and close :D).
Cheers,
- Febs.

Alternative to the bridge climb is the Sydney Tower Skywalk... 1/3 the price & you see a lot more ;). Done both & the Skywalk would be my pick.

The missus and I did the Centerpoint Tower walk, well worth the $$. The view and height is just awesome.

This is a good guide to walking around the harbour, or even further around if you make a day of it.On this site there are maps and written notes about the walks. Beautiful scenery. The prettiest harbour in the world!

Darling harbour is a good place to stay,so many places to eat and drink.
I vote for the Sky walk on centerpoint. Also do the 3D simulator thing as well, i think its included. We bought a pass that got us into the skywalk, the simulator, The Aquarium and Wildlife world. That will take up a whole day for sure

Old man HAT on ... nightclubs are a frigging waste of time, unless you're single and desperate to find yourself a loser.

  and the music is so freaken loud you cant understand a word anyone says, must be getting old too.
As a young Hatter ill vouch for the Ivy. Not a club IMO but a really classy bar. Dont bother trying unless you have 2 girls, a collar on your shirt, really nice jeans and proper dress shoes.
Definitely do Ice Bar!! I went for the first time last month its such a cool experience. Expensive (entry is round $30 but includes a cocktail) but i found it great fun and i ate my glass at the end lol

Im taking notes, there are some good ideas.
Im going to Sydney on the 7,8,9 with my girlfriend as she bought me TG live tickets for my birthday/christmas.
Already been to Sydney and done the usual stuff like the bridge climb, harbour cruise, opera house, etc.
I might check out some of the young hat ideas, not really a clubber but id check out a bar.
Id allso like to get over to bondi this time.

If you have ya car, go for a drive to the northern beachs (not as crazy as the city beachs) to Palm beach, stop off on the way at Newport Arms for a beer and feed and maybe around to west head, great drive and awsome views, especially the west head drive.
