Well, today Denis was kind enough to drop in and take Chantel and i for a cruise in the GenT VT. What a great package with a 3000rpm yank stallie and 3.73 Diff, this car is a weapon!

Carl "So, what did you think Chant"
Chantel "I just cant wipe the smirk of my face"

Pretty much sum's up this package, complete stock feel until a half stab at throttle and the speedo rip's straight past 160km/h with amazing ezz... I cant wait to the day i finally have a car where WOT isnt somthing to be toy'd with :eyes:

Sonny's touch is, as always, flawless!

BOOST IS BEST!

Couldn't agree more Carl ...

We took the SS to Orange for the weekend, was supposed to take the GTS but guess what ... I haven't got it !!! :toetap: When giving it full throttle at the start of the trip it felt god damn awful, 240rwkw felt SLOW !!! By the end of the weekend my speed sensors had been reset and it felt fast again. :D

Now for the fun part, getting back in the Coupe tomorrow. :nutbag:

 I know what you mean Nick. When I have been away with work for a few weeks driving Landrovers and Unimog trucks, the SS feels sooooo fast.

Its almost like your brain tells you what to expect when you plant it and it gets so use to it.

I normaly get back in the SS after such trips and accidently give my self whip lash :nutbag:

You know, it's at these times I wish:

1.) I had a car,
2.) I've driven a V8 before,
3.) I was you guys :(

All in good time Rob ... if it makes you feel better when I was 17 I was driving a 1.2litre 1978 Toyota Corolla. :headbang:

I certainly don't miss those days ... except I actually got to sleep back then.

Mate, after driving a Ford Transit van Mon - Fri, the Monaro feels like a dead set V8 supercar on a Saturday morning!!!

... and being blown sideways from the left lane to the middle lane

4 speed manual, we managed to get it to 120 km/h on the down hill run to the Mooney Mooney Bridge, with a tail wind, just ... what a car.

I have to wait until I'm 18..

:headbang: I hate Victorian laws, why make age restrictions? Just make the requirements and training more vigorous.. Restricting ages isn't going to do anything.
