Cheers guys.

Obviously starting with a VZ was not the smartest thing, when you are going to run cable throttle and use a crappa vortech mount.
Will have to change the complete fly by wire throttle setup and crappa mounts are designed for VY's so i had to use a vy power steer pump and lines, also Dan told me to use a vy computer , and am changing the loom to vy aswell.
Not looking forward to the wiring, have done a bit but much more to be done.

Couple more pics.

And yes the nos bottles are in backwards, bit of a brain fade that day.

Launch control.

Air compressor.

Air to air cooler.

Bought them a while ago,one pump will run all the time and the other two will come on when it hits boost, mate is doing some welding on the surge tank for me ,should get it back shortly.:)

Thanks SAJ put i bit of time into it now,the rear looks strong but i have seen one of the diff housing's crack and have heard of people breaking these drive shafts, will have to see how we go,wasnt real keen on the transbrake as it will struggle with traction anyway, but the guy who built the box is a good mate and put it on anyway.

No worries Dave ,send it up ,you might be without it for a couple of years though.:chuckle:

Cheers mate,as i said i bumble along a bit,it a bit hard to tell fact from fiction with a lot of things if your not working with them everyday, especially living in Darwin,we have no one i would trust, that is why even though it takes a long time i do a lot of things myself.
I used the 2.04 conversion which works out at 978 hp which is roughly what i was looking at.
If you think this is wrong please feel free to correct me.:)

To give you rough idea the duty cycle on the 79lb'ers i had on my ute was about 78% at 500rwkw.

Thanks for that,is it better to go bigger and run them at less or run the 60lb ones at close to 100%,i havent looked but what is the next size in high impedence is it 72 lb?.
Cheers

890cc injectors will barley support 1000fwhp, infact they will be max duty cycle, to support 1000fwhp you will need minimum 100lb injectors.

Thanks for that ,could you give me a hint where to find 100lb injectors, speed inc has some new high imp 85lb ,but these are only good for 840 hp at 85% at 40 psi with FI.
Cheers

try this guy t1race@gmail.com he has the ev14 injectors and claims they flow 100lbs. the ev 14 injectors are suited for the l76 manifold onwards.

or alternatively you can use some bosch 1200cc injectors and use a peak and hold box to drive them, i have had great success with the bosch indy blues (1600cc) with the drive box.

My God this is nuts, this will haul arse.

In relation to the injectors could you possibly run 2 per cylinder??
