There's a lot of threads and pics up of Dan's work so i thought i'd give him a chance to put his feet up (only to realise he was doing Nick's GTS) and have a crack myself giving the old girl a thorough detail of sorts......and no i'm not talking about the Possum :D
Now being the average bloke that i am,i'm also an average photogragher so don't be too critical of the pics. The main thing about the detail today is that I did it and i'm very happy and proud of the results. It has some swirls and the odd paint chip here and there but you get that with a daily driven vehicle......but i'm still lovin' it!
The pics don't do it justice and the paint is sooo smooth it's ridiculous!!!!
Anyway here goes........

Oh and the interior and engine bay received the treatment too.....

She may be 5 years old now but she doesn't look her age and for me it's just so satisfying when a plan comes together :hat:

Looks great mate!! Well done. Interior and engine looks mint. Dont think ive ever seen the inside of your car lol
Good depth in the reflection shots and the sun shot looks good to. Seems to be a little bit of smeering but you will get that with a paste wax, it will settle down in a day or so.
Top job

Looks the biz!
The shots I did for my car where after a 5 hour detail.
Used Polyglaze Wash, Turtle Wax polish and then TW Wax. Interior was Megs interior clean and Armorall leather wipes.
Like you said before the finish was amazing, still has the really glossy feel to it and good depth and reflection.
Hethro :)

Thank you Hethro :)
The clay was the product that really did the trick.....i can't believe how many fine particles and road grime it picked up  I used Pinnacle to polish and nourish the paint a bit after the clay and finished with the Pinnacle Souveran wax.

Nice one Daz ... good to see you give the machine such a thorough handjob! :D
The beauty of buying new ... you don't inheret the sins of the previous owner when it comes to the paintwork and panels. :banghead:
Yours must be a VYII ... the VYI SV8 interior is ... an eyefull !!!
