RX8 and Corona!

Been a while since I've visited these parts, so thought I'd pop in and post some recent pics of the machines.


Make: Toyota
Model: Corona
Body: Sedan
Year: 1984

Engine: Toyota 3SGE
Induction: 48mm Dellorto
Drivetrain: Supra W57, Lite ace locked diff
Suspension: Various bits, Commodore shocks
Brakes: VT Front, VS Rear

Other Mods: Fairly simple IPRA race car, but lots of fun all the same.

Planned Mods: Currently needs some new pistons, would love to give it a coat of paint.

OPGP: 1:23
WP: 1:10
Bathurst: 2:52

Also, have sold the Evo since I was last around here - now have one of these...

Induction: Factory
Drivetrain: Unknown flavour LSD.
Suspension: Racing Logic Coil overs, Ric Shaw adjustable ARBs.
Brakes: AP Racing calipers front, standard rear.

Other Mods: That's about it except for the tint, oh, and also running a full exhaust and plug in computer. Very nice car to drive.

Planned Mods: Nothing

Thanks Kyle, mate of mine did the shots. Has developed his own car mount system, and generally uses me as a guinea pig for any new developments.

Nah, a guy called Trent Haines, does quite a bit of commercial sporty stuff, Triathalons, Mountain bike races, international and domestic cricket etc...
