Good to see Anthony in the S2000 out cruising around with you guys. Shame his car does not qualify but I dont think it bothers him. He got a new PB on the weekend too. Maybe if there is enough cars he can do that superspint stlye racing where 2 cars leave at the same time and have a mini race but still againt the clock.
Keith what were you lapping on the weekend. Seemed slower than usual but it was a hot old day. I really like looking at your rig on take off from the start line. 0 to 60 on almost nothing.

thanks for the kind words

Listy - best i got was a 1'25.9" i think from memory. But lap times don't matter when you're racing - just got to do enough to stay in front!

(it wasn't so much the heat - it was my tyres - they have 'gone off' and i was too cheap to buy a new set!) also destroyed a brake pad and had to go home to get a spare - that's why i missed the third race.

here is a youtube link of my car getting off the line at the V8 Supercar round last year...

no - sorry mate

it got too boring so i turned it off - i ended up 4th.

every time i get involved in a good race with someone in front of me the bloody camera mal-functions!

but i've got plenty of stories to tell...

Gee the track looks different with all those barries etc lining the road and tyres on the turns. Everything looked so small.

Dam that just flew off the line. Good call holding back for the commodores, if you took him it would of ended in tears. Shame about the footage, looked great fun with a element of holy crap thrown in. I could handle watching much more of that in car footage.

Looking at that stuff I am so tempted to get my licence and car log booked and go in a race ot two. Just being a daily deiver it is kinda risky through.

I dont think I would race my daily either Listy, there is a fair chance in any race panel damage may be inevitable.

my theory has always been, that if you can't afford to leave the car in a burning wreck at the track, then you should not race it.

but having said that - i have only had two collisions with other cars on the track in the last 10 years - both of which were very minor (it buffed out!).

however i have had three good bingles with the wall that i can only blame myself for. That certainly sucked...
