Thats right... The tanks back baby :weirdo:

With a little one due in oct/nov I decided that the focus simply wasn't going to cut it as a family hack and I didn't want to ruin the leather seats either...

I was fortunate enough to get a great backtrade deal on a 05 BF xr6 turbo sedan...

44k's
6sp auto
premium sound
6 stack
factory sat nav ($3k option apparently.. don't understand how it's shite!)
bonus nokia advanced car kit

Having never owned an auto before I was hesitant to buy it, but now that I've had it for a couple of days i can see why everyone raves about the ZF transmission, it's super smooth!

Oh yeah, first mods will be a vcmsuite custom tune by Dale @ CHE and a noisy centre muffler for fun.

...ermm....Don't want to rain on your parade but what makes you think that cloth seats are more durable than leather? With kids, there's no substitute for leather or vinyl where you can just wipe them over to remove the ice-cream/sauce/cordial/milk/various-bodily-excretions/milk etc rather than have the stuff soak in...:)
Nice car BTW...

Congrats Kyle! probably a better option for a family.

And... perfect for a casual (private) drag day! hint hint!

Yep Dunc, tempted to enter the drag day for a few laps :D

Guys..

1. Focus is small as shit, will fit stroller and SFA more than that.
2. The leather seating in the focus stipulates that the car has no centre rear seat, so no capsule can be mounted there.
3. The focus leather seating is a class above anything the falcons and commodores have on offer, mine was in 100% new condition and conditioned weekly. I simply could not bring myself to ruin the leather in the focus :)

Plenty of fasts in this thing already with the auto, i'm loving it :D

I'll be happy when it has 300-330 rwkw, nice wheels and lowered a bit

Congrats on the impending little one mate ...

She looks real tidy, the auto is a great choice and there is no way you can do kids with a hatchback with a small back seat ... just doesn't work.

Smart choice, enjoy it.
